Chapter 12

Henry POV

Still standing in the same spot that I saw Addison at. I could not get over my shock. I looked in the direction that she went I saw Liz give me a look of caution. I shake my head trying to clear it and calm down. I decide to leave school and got to my friend Wendy to talk.

I make it to the diner and sit in her section until she is available. As I was waiting I could not help thinking of what happened at school.

Flashback

As I went to my locker to get my books for next class when I saw her. However she is with another guy. When I saw him I could barely just stop myself from growling at him.Not only has she found someone new, but he was not even human.

As I try to approach her to protect her from this guy. She quickly walks away with him

End Flashback

"Hey. Are you okay?"  I hear a soft voice ask. I look up toward Wendy.

"Not really. " I say. I watch her take her apron off and talk to her boss. 

"Come. Lets go." She says when she come back to the table.I stand up and we go back to her place for the rest of the day,

Liz POV

I was walking out of the girls room when I saw Addison a d Henry. I decided to stay back to watch the whole situation play out. 

I could not help feel really bad for them both. Feeling the way that they do and having a hard time communicating feelings. As Addison walks to her next class I decide I should follow her. I give Henry a look of caution as he was angry and could turn or lash at her.

As he walk out I hope that he does not do anything stupid. As I watch the interaction between Addy and the new guy. I made a call to the Alpha to inform him of what is happening

Addison POV

One week later

I am at home getting ready to go out to the mall with Jason and Rob.Ever since Liz and Henry have been away I have gotten a lot closer to Jason and Rob. Which I am really happy about. Before I was feeling a bit guilty about not spending much time with Rob.

 As I finish getting dressed and head downstairs to get my bag ready to go while I wait for Jason to pick me up. When I look toward the wood line in my backyard I could not help but remember Henry the first time he came in my home. I slowly started to smile thinking of all the fun times I have had with him. Which reminded me that he was going to be away for a while. One thing I can not understand is why Liz would also be gone as well. They both are being very secretive about everything too. I have to say what hurts is the possibility that they might be together this entire time. Thinking of them like that makes me feel betrayed. As my heart constricts and tears start to form I shake my head and grab a tissue. " You are being ridiculous." I say to myself since Henry and I are not even together.

DING! DONG! I jump as I hear the doorbell shake me from my thoughts. I grab my purse as I head to open the door thinking Jason has arrived to pick me up.

Once opened I felt my hear skip a beat as I am surprised who is standing there. I see Henry standing there with a serious expression on his face and then I see Liz standing with him. My heart just runs cold as I figured I was right and they were together and they have finally decided to tell  me. Something must have gave way my thoughts on my face as Liz gives me a confused look. I try to close the door as fast as I could. Trying to prevent them from seeing how them being together bothers me. However someone pushes back against the door and manages to get it open. They both walk in, including one handsome stranger.

I look at the new guy and  could not help but look at him in awe. He had black as midnight hair and silver eyes which looked ice cold . He was also tall about six foot high and he was broad and strong. When I  realized that I was looking at him a little too long, he quirked his eyebrow at me, I looked away and saw that Henry had a look of anger and disgust on his face. " This is illegal you know. You cannot keep entering without permission." I say to them and look at Henry at the end pointedly. I notice that Henry looked away bashfully and Liz had tried to hold back a laugh, but all the stranger did was crack small smile as if I was making a joke.

"Please Addy you need to sit down." Liz says softly. I raise a brow at her and look at her face I could see she was serious and also a little sad about whatever was going on. I let out a little sigh and comply.

" Okay. What we tell you will be hard to believe, however it is true." Liz says earnestly. Her and Henry both look toward the handsome stranger, he gives a nod, they look back at me. They stay quiet for a moment as if composing themselves. I look toward Liz for any clue or anything and she just looks away and avoids eye contact.

I put my eyes down to look at my hands and try to calm the butterflies in my stomach and and rub my sweaty hands on my jeans. Not able to take the silence anymore I look at Henry about to demand they tell me what is going on when he says, " We are Werewolves."
