Canna P.O.V. My mother looked at me skeptically, still concerned about my injury. "Are you sure?" she asked, her eyes fixed on my finger. I nodded, pulling my finger out of my mouth to show her. "See, I'm fine," I said, holding up my finger to demonstrate. However, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as I examined the cut. It was strange that the bleeding had stopped so suddenly, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. "That's weird," I muttered under my breath, "it's not bleeding anymore." I lifted my finger to show my mother, but all I felt was a numb sensation. How could a deep cut just stop bleeding like that? My father's worried expression only added to my growing sense of unease. "We should get your training done as soon as possible," he said, his tone serious. He knew that something was going on, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread at his words. After finishing my meal, I quickly got up from the table and offered to help my mother with the dishes. As we washed and dried the plates, I couldn't help but feel grateful for her delicious cooking. "You can go to bed now," my mother said, placing the last washed plate in the cabinet. I nodded, thanking her once again for the meal. "It was a pleasure," she replied with a smile, "thanks for helping me clean up." With a sense of satisfaction at having helped my mother, I made my way out of the kitchen and up to my room. As I settled into bed, I felt a sense of exhaustion wash over me. The day's events had taken a toll on me, and I knew that I needed a good night's rest. I closed my eyes, feeling the softness of the pillows and blankets against my skin. The sound of rain tapping against the window lulled me into a peaceful slumber, and I drifted off into a deep sleep, feeling content and safe in my own little world. The Next Day I woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, with my mind clear and my body at ease. I stretched my arms and legs, feeling the pleasant sensation of my muscles loosening up. As I sat up in bed, I noticed that the sound of rain tapping against my window had stopped. I got up and walked over to the window, pulling the curtains aside to look outside. To my surprise, the rain had stopped, and the sky was just cloudy and looked like the sun wanted to come out. The world outside looked fresh and vibrant, as if the rain had washed away all the dirt and grime, leaving behind a clean slate. I felt a sense of peace wash over me as I gazed out at the world, taking in the beauty of it all. I opened my windows, feeling the cool morning breeze wafting in, bringing with it the fresh scent of dewy grass and blooming flowers from the forest. As I took a deep breath, I felt a sense of clarity and peace wash over me, and I knew that it was going to be a good day. I made my way to the bathroom, ready to start my morning routine. I turned on the shower, letting the warm water cascade over my body, washing away the remnants of sleep and leaving me feeling refreshed and invigorated. As I got dressed, I couldn't help but think about the events of last night. The memory of my finger being cut open and the blood that stopped so quickly kept playing in my mind, along with my father's concern about it all. Once I finished getting ready, I made my way downstairs and out the door, eager to explore the vast expanse of the forest that surrounded our house. The early morning air was crisp and refreshing, and the sun was just starting to rise, casting a warm glow over everything in its path. I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of excitement and adventure coursing through my veins. As I walked deeper into the forest, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer beauty of it all. The towering trees loomed overhead, their branches swaying gently in the breeze. The ground was covered in a thick layer of leaves, and the occasional wildflower peeked out from between the cracks. It was a world unlike any other, and I was eager to explore every inch of it. After a few minutes of walking, I heard the sound of water running in the distance. It was almost like a waterfall, and I couldn't help but feel curious. My father had never mentioned a waterfall in the forest, and I was intrigued to find out more. I followed the sound, my heart beating faster with every step. As I got closer, I could see the water cascading down the rocks, creating a beautiful and mesmerizing display. The sunlight danced off the water, creating a kaleidoscope of colors that filled the air. I stood there, transfixed, taking in the beauty of it all. It was a moment that I would never forget, a moment of pure magic and wonder. After wandering around the waterfall for a while, I noticed a tree that was positioned at an angle overlooking the waterfall. I couldn't resist the urge to climb it and see the waterfall from a different perspective. As I made my way up the tree, my heart pounding with excitement, I felt a sense of adventure and freedom that I hadn't felt in a long time. Once I reached the top, I was greeted with a breathtaking view of the waterfall. The water was crystal clear, and the sunlight danced off its surface. I sat there, lost in thought, taking in the beauty of it all. It was a moment of pure magic, and I felt grateful to be alive and witness it. As I sat there, I realized that I had found my new world, a world where I could come and relax, escape from reality, and be at one with nature. It was a world that I had been searching for my entire life, and I felt a sense of contentment wash over me. However, my moment of solitude was interrupted by the sound of voices getting closer by the second. I felt a sense of panic wash over me, unsure of who or what was approaching. I knew that I had to stay calm and quiet, so I stayed up in the tree, hidden from view.
