“Maroroya na vakatalai....tani ni Yalo ena toba me yacova ni sa yaco mai na siga, sa lako tani kina na vakatalai tani ni Yalo!" Aurora chanted heavily across the border of the town. She repeated two more times before a shimmering clear effervescent border extended from her hands and enveloped the area between the entrance of the town and the outside of it
“That should hold.” Aurora said with confidence. “When you want it down,” She shrugged. “I’ll teach how to bring it down, but until then-
“How will it affect her if she comes through?” Kazmiyah asked.
“Well,” Aurora looked on the other end of the shield to see that, of course, Kazmiyah’s half-sister was nowhere to be found. “Assuming she’s on the other end-which she’s not…” she pointed out under her breath, having a feeling that Kazmiyah's younger half-sister was probably somewhere in Crescent Falls. “She’ll be forced back and when she’s in the town-” Her voice was cut off by a loud screaming coming from behind the two of them.
Aurora scoffed as Kazmiyah turned around and lifted her arms in a gesture showcasing a prime example of what would actually happen. A gasp escaped Kazmiyah just as a body was thrown past them and the town border.
Alora’s body was aggressively thrown back . She groaned in pain as she recovered from the ground. “What the-” Alora heaved whilst trying to steady herself. She stood and incredulously looked forward to see Aurora and Kazmiyah standing over the town line. She rushed the town border and attempted to slam her fist against the shield when she was thrown forcefully back again. “What did you do?!” She screamed as she once again found herself trying to gain balance again from the forceful fall. “How dare you!”
Alora started to speak again against Kazmiyah and Aurora when her throat was suddenly closed, her body-against its own will was brought back to the shield.
“You’re lucky I haven’t killed you….yet.” Kazmiyah sneered.
Kazmiyah watched on as Alora choked on nothing at all. She wondered when the moment would be right to let her go; and as she continuously thought about that, Alora’s suffering lasted longer and longer.
“Kazmiyah.” Aurora said, delving into her mind to intercede as it seemed that Kazmiyah could not hear Aurora's words verbally. “Stop.”
When Kazmiyah came to her senses she dropped her younger sister. It was when Alora took an obnoxiously loud breath that she came out of her own mind. She looked at Aurora and then back at Alora, who was still trying to catch a full breath.
“You alright?” Aurora asked.
"Why? What do you mean?” Kazmiyah asked. Surely, she hadn’t been in her reverie that long.
“I’ve been calling you for two minutes now.” Aurora told Kazmiyah. “Almost killed your sister.” She pointed out. “Would have let it happen, but….then your dad will probably blah, blah, blah.” Aurora added and shrugged. “Had to take extra measures.”
“Fine.” Kazmiyah said after a minute of contemplative silence. She looked at Alora again. “I’m going to go see about Falcon.”
“Kazmiyah!” Alora screamed. “Kazmiyah, don’t walk away from me!”
Kazmiyah kept walking and Aurora just stared at Alora, amusement written upon her face. “You really just don’t seem to get it, do you?” She said. Alora growled; she was obviously angry. Aurora only sighed. “You’ll learn.” She returned before walking away. “Stay in your lane, darling. Next time I may not be here to stop her.”
Kazmiyah headed to the hospital to go check in on Falcon. When she arrived, she saw Jason and Rojer standing there having a back and forth. It sounded like they were talking about their would-be Luna.
“How do you manage to lose a whole female?” She heard Roj chastise his Delta.
“I don-I just kind of forgot.” Jason said. “I mean, you know I do not like watching kids!”
“She is not a kid, Jason.” Rojer reminded the Delta. “She is your Luna and-”
“Oh come on, Rojer.” Jason frustratedly returned. “Look, you and I both know that she is not our true Luna and quite frankly, I am tired of acting like we-”
“Kaz!” Roj cut Jason off and hugged her. “I just cannot get over the idea that you are here..”
“It is kind of surreal, I guess.” She replied. “But I won’t look a gift horse in the mouth.”
“Well, hello there, Luna lady?” Jason winked.
Kazmiyah smirked. “It’s nice to see you again, Delta.” She said.
“You too.” He smiled.
“Your Luna is at the border.” She told them.
Both Rojer and Jason looked at each other incredulously. “What?” Roj replied to Kazmiyah.
“Do you-so you are saying that she is just standing there outside the border?” Jason asked.
Kazmiyah shrugged. “Aurora made sure of it.” Kazmiyah smirked.
“Aurora?” Roj smirked.
Jason nodded. “I’d really like to get to know that one.” He grinned.
Kazmiyah found it amusing that Jason seemed to have a small crush, but she knew in the long run that there was something going on between Aurora and Godfrey. Still, she didn’t know what it was so decided not to interfere.
“She is an interesting one.” Kazmiyah pointed out.
“Cannot disagree with that.” Rojer agreed. He looked at Falcon for a moment and then sighed. “Well we’d better go check on the Luna.” He looked at Kazmiyah. “I’m sure you two have a lot to catch up on.”
Kazmiyah watched Falcon’s unconscious body and suddenly was reminded of a time when she was lying there. It was very different circumstances but she imagined that the anxiety of it all felt close to the same.
“How would I even begin to be able to contact him?” Kazmiyah asked as she looked at Falcon.
“You’re a goddess.” Rojer reminded Kazmiyah. “And you are his mate. If anyone can figure it out,” he nudged her. “You can.”
Kazmiyah smiled. She didn’t realize how much she missed this relationship with Rojer. She nudged him back and then returned her gaze to Falcon. “Guess we’ll see.”
