CHAPTER 9 Once Roarr and Loke had the cart back up on top of the promontory, they parked it beside the cabin, out of view from the road. Apparently, my grandmother insisted that they have breakfast before continuing back to Villmark. Not that I was inclined to argue. I was starving myself. An overloaded plate of eggs, bacon, and far too many waffles later, I was almost too logy to even head back out the door. My sleepless night wasn't helping either. But I knew what I had to do.
