Andrew missed my call. I need to redial..one...two...three... Oh yes! It was connected!
“Andrew!!! Buddy!!! Andrew!” I said in a panic-stricken tone.
“Hey! It's past midnight. What's wrong with you?” He sounded uneasy when he answered, perhaps surprised at my outburst.
“It’s Emily, and she’d been doped!” I almost yelled at him in tension.
“Jossssshhhhh” it was Emily’s voice in the background. Hearing her voice makes me more nervous.
“Josh, calm down and tell me about it” Andrew's steady voice brought me back to my reason for calling him. I need advice...as in NOW!
“Yes, Andrew, I’m still here…” I tried to steady myself. I closed the door so that I could tell him everything. Emily's yelling made me panicky, and I need to focus first.
