Harmony watched from a distance, seething with jealousy. Alice was asleep in the car, her peaceful expression a stark contrast to the storm brewing within Harmony. Alex walked around the vehicle and gently scooped Alice up in a bridal style, careful not to wake her. His tenderness and the way he looked at Alice made Harmony’s blood boil.
"Un-f*****g-believable," Harmony muttered under her breath, her hands clenching into fists. She had never received such attention from Alex! How had Alice managed to enchant the Alpha so completely? Indignant and vexed, she turned to Brittany, who stood beside her, equally appalled.
