ILL-FATED LOVE

"Brooke," he called me.

"Ayoko na...... Ayoko na Kai," I replied while wiping the tears rolling down on my cheeks.

Hindi ko na kaya pang ituloy ang relasyon namin, mahal ko siya ngunit hindi ito tama.

"Why? I love you and you love me too right? Ano ba ang mali doon?" He closed the distance between us as he placed his forehead on mine.

"Pero alam nating pareho na hindi ito tama." Hinawakan ko ng mabuti ang kanyang kanang kamay upang sabihin ang huli kong paalam.

"Oo alam kong hindi tayo pwede. Alam kong mali ang relasyon nating dalawa ngunit ano ba ang pakialam nila? Hindi mo na ba ako mahal? Answer me honestly Brooke, I'm begging." Nasaksihan ko ang pagpatak ng bawat luhang lumalabas mula sa kanyang singkit na mata.

"I do love you Kai! I love you that it torments me to know that your a relative from afar!" I yelled with all the pain that I've been caging for a month.

"I know and it pains me too but we need to fight for the both of us. Please fight with me Brooke," he begged. He even kneeled in front of me just to convince me but I can't.

This.... This whole thing isn't right though it's the best part of my teenage years.

"Maybe this is the end of us. I love you. Goodbye." I finally walked away from him with my shattered heart.

It would have been better if we didn't know the truth. Sana hindi na lang namin nalaman na magpinsan pala kami.
