Everyone just about lost their minds at the announcement. My dad was in tears as he hurried to hug me. Denny and Patricia were next, and it felt like a never-ending line of hugs and cheek kisses from the entire tribe.
“One’s a girl,” I said for everyone to hear. “We need to come up with more names, but we won’t know for sure the gender of the other baby until I am further along.”
“It’s a two-for-one,” Freyja cried as she hugged me again. “I’m so excited and happy for you guys.”
“Thanks, Frey,” I said and patted my squishy belly. “I can’t believe there’s two in there.”
“I’m sure you’ll feel them soon enough,” Ginny added. “I can’t wait to meet them, and I hope it’s a boy and a girl.”
