Third person POV 

The day of the ball came, everyone was getting ready, Reilly was wearing her hair up, a purple gown that showed her curves. Steven was wearing a black tuxedo with a purple dress shirt to match his mate, his hair was comb to the side. Ryder who was starting to have issues dressing because of his pregnancy, was wearing black skinny jeans that had being fixed for him. All his jeans now have a belly band attached to them, he also wore a blue night lose shirt. Stevan was wearing black jeans and a blue night dress shirt, his hair messy style. Randy was feeling uncomfortable, he had a bad feeling but ignore it at the end, he was wearing blue night dress pants and purple dress shirt. Liam felt awkward, he knew the triplets accidently matched all the time but now even their mates with them. Liam was wearing black dress pants and a red dress shirt, nothing even close to what the rest were wearing. 

Ryder was crying in the arms of Zeth who had taken him to the guest room he was staying at in the Red moon pack house. Zeth hold Ryder tight to him letting the boy cry, his hand then lay in the small swollen belly. Zeth was amazed that everything had gone to plan and not only that but it was true Ryder was pregnant. Ryder was hurt, his mate the guy he really loves had slept with Rebecca and this brought him to the arms of Zeth. He had his face buried in Zeth’s chest, he was so into his pain that didn’t smell the scent of his mate when he was closer. Zeth in the other hand he did, he cup Ryder’s face with both hands as he lean in giving Ryder a kiss in the lips. At this the door burst open a dangerous growl was heard, Zeth smirk looking Stevan in the eyes as he jumps in his feet. Zeth was now standing in front of Ryder still smirking, Stevan’s eyes where black he was not wearing his shirt. 

Three hours earlier 

The four are arriving at the Red moon pack, inside Rebecca and Zeth are finishing up what is needed for their plan. After a few minutes Zeth finds his way to the four who are now drinking fruit punch. Zeth asks for champagne to be brought to the five of them, “oh no it’s fine, I... I can’t drink alcohol.” Ryder said as Zeth was giving him a glass, “what your mate doesn’t let you drink?” Stevan was getting irritated at the way Zeth eyed rape Ryder every second possible and now his words. Ryder noticing the way his mate was starting to change eye color, he took Stevan’s hand in his. Stevan turn to his mate putting his other hand in Ryder’s waist bringing him closer, he buries his face in the crook of his neck smelling his scent. Zeth felt jealous he really does like Ryder, the real reason why he accepted to make a plan with Rebecca to get Ryder for him. 

Stevan POV 

I took Ryder with me, we danced a while until Ryder felt the need to look for a bathroom, both walk into one he went in while a waited for him outside. This is good because now I can take several deep breaths, when we came in, I saw Zeth eying my mate in ways I hate. The thing is he kept doing it the past hour and I just want to kill the bastard. After a few minutes Ryder comes out I smile then take his hand inn mine as we walk back to Reilly and Steven. The thing is that Randy and Liam are acting weird, they even left, I think I saw Liam dancing with a few girls but haven’t seen Randy. 

Randy POV 

When we came in, I saw the way Zeth looked I my brother and after a while I didn’t like it one bit so I decided to blend in and watch over my brother from afar. I saw Zeth a few times talking to the girl Ryder said is Rebecca the one that is in love with Stevan or something. I watch them laugh with each other than argue with other. After a few times I started following them around and notice something, they were following Ryder and Stevan, watching, or more like waiting for something. “You, come here” the girl asks a server over, “I need you to take this drink to the guy there.” She pointed towards my brother and his mate, she then added something to the drink. “Are you craze that’s too much; we want him unconscious not dead.” I jump as I keep watching them, the girl whispers something to the server I try hard to hear but I am far enough and the music in this place doesn’t help.  

The server takes the drink and walks to Stevan and Ryder, I mind link Liam and Reilly, ‘guys theirs something going on. I think the server heading towards Stevan is going to poison him,’ I don’t want to lose my sight on Rebecca and Zeth so I stay close. I watch as Reilly takes the drink from the server before Stevan can touch it. Rebecca frowns and stomps towards the stairs, I follow Zeth not trusting him, he goes back to the guys so I came as well. “I have to go to my father, he is mind linking me,” Stevan says I look at Zeth who smiles as Ryder. I growl taking Ryder to my side, “I will watch over him” I let Stevan knows he nods. 

Ryder POV 

A few minutes later and alpha Stephan walks to us, “have any of you seen Stevan? I call for him to come to my office but didn’t came.” Randy takes my hand in his ‘don’t worry, he might of have gone to the bathroom’ he minds links me. After more minute's pass, we decided to look for him, I try following his scent Randy not staying away from me. As we keep walking around the place, we ended up in front of his bedroom door were the smell or him is stronger. Then another scent hit my nose, arousal, I gulp feeling nervous Randy looks at me “I don’t think it’s him.” I know he means the arousal, I open the door and I feel the pain in my chest as I see him lying in bed naked on top of Rebecca who is also naked. A gasp leaves my mouth before I run away from there bumping into Zeth.  

“What happened, are you hurt?” I nod not able to respond to him in words as the tears keep falling, he takes me to a room where we both sit in bed as I cry my eyes out. “shh it's okay, everything will be fine don’t worry I am here.” His words help a bit, “he...and... her.. And I was them and...” I try to explain he sights “I can only imagine, look you know I am into guys, and you Ryder are the prettiest guy I have ever met. If it weren't because I need an heir trust me, I would have fought for you months ago. I found my mate last year, I had to reject her” before he could continue, I gasp “her?” “Yes, Ryder even though I am into guys my mate was a girl, I reject her not wanting to harm her, if I had lied to her it would of being more painful. I prefer to live a fake love life with someone I won't hurt, because trust me Ryder even though she was my mate I wasn’t going to stop liking men.” 

I now realize what he is saying is true, Stevan is heterosexual, he is into women and will always be no mater that I am his mate, am a guy. I lean in his chest as I keep crying, “am pregnant” I whisper “what? How?” I shrug as I keep crying in his chest burring my face smelling his scent, it just pains me more because he is not my mate. I feel his hand land softly on my baby bump, he rubs his thump, my baby moves I smile, because doesn’t matter how sad and hurt I am. My baby’s movements always will bring a smile in my face. 

Randy POV 

When we open the door, I see Stevan naked laying on top of that girl Rebecca who is also naked, Ryder gasps. I walk inside pulling Stevan away from her I gasp when I see he is unconscious, I walk to the bathroom getting a glass of water. I pour the water on him and he wakes, I mind link Reilly when I notice Ryder is long gone. She said she will look for him as I tend to Stevan who is waking up as he groans. “what... what happened why am I naked?” he asks me but since I didn’t let that girl Rebecca leave, I turn to her, “I don’t know, why don’t we ask her.” He growls when he sees he is naked and so is she, he turns to me “you were like this when Ryder and I enter, actually no you were on top of her.” His eyes widen looking around and I can tell that he is looking for his mate. “He is long gone I stayed to wake you,” he gets up quickly putting on his boxers and his jeans that are scattered around the room. Before he leaves the room “don't let her leave, I have questions” he growls in a threating way, I nod at him and turn to the girl, "change.” 

Stevan POV 

I can’t remember what happened, after I left Ryder, I was heading to my father’s office then blank, nothing until Randy woke me up. Now I am trying to follow my mate’s scent, I have to let him know nothing happened that I didn’t sleep with that b***h. I pick his scent but then I recognize another scent as well, I run in the direction of the scent. I burst into the room, a growl escapes me as I see my mate in tears but not only that but Zeth has his lips on my mate. He jumps up and put himself in front of Ryder as if I would hurt my mate. “MOVE!” I growl at Zeth his smirk never leaving his face, Ryder gets up on his feet, Zeth grabs a hold of his hand and I can't hold my wolf any longer I shift. 

Ryder eyes widen when he sees me in my wolf form, we take a threating step towards Zeth, Ryder tries to take a step towards us. “Don’t,” Zeth says making me growl at him, Ryder turns to Zeth “it’s okay, he won't hurt us,” his hand cares his swollen belly. ‘Love I don’t know what happened, please believe me I didn’t do anything with that crazy b***h,’ I mind link. ‘I know, Randy told me, and he thinks Zeth was in on it,’ I bare my canines at Zeth. “Calm down, I am here,” Ryder says as he pets my wolf head, we purr at his touch, lick his hands and face. I am so glad he is my mate, my love, my everything, he hugs me making me calm instantly. 

Ryder POV 

Stevan shifts back into his human while I am hugging him, he hugs me tight, “Ryder?” I hear zeth but I can’t turn to face him because the next thing I know Stevan’s lips are on mine. The sweet gentle kiss turns into a passionate hungry kiss that makes my knees weak. “get a room you two,” Reilly says from behind I blush as I separate our lips to breath anyway. “Oh we are,” says Stevan as he picks me up in arms (bridal style) he walks to his room and her scent hits my nose. “hey love look at me,” I do as he says, he sits in the bed as he sits me in his legs making me realize he is naked. “What happened earlier I didn’t do anything, but either way I promise I will be more careful and this, wont happen again.” He finishes with a passionate kiss, his hands roam my sides until he parts only to remove my shirt. 

Time flies and today is my Luna ceremony, as well as Stevan’s alpha ceremony, yes that is what his father wanted to tell him the night of the ball. In a few more weeks I will be six months pregnant, I am happy everything is going well. Stevan had Rebecca pay for knocking him out, Zeth is to no longer set foot in the United States. Since he is from Australia and committed an act against an alpha from the United States. All alphas agree to this term it was this or Stevan’s which was to kill Zeth and it could bring a war so this is a better option.
