A month later and Ryder was now wearing loose shirts to hide his belly bump, while Stevan is more over his mate than ever. They were watching movies yes this is how they spend the weekends in their room at Ryder’s pack house. Ryder has become a little more bold now with the pregnancy and Stevan love it. After the movie was over Ryder lean in on Stevan, running his finger tips through Stevan’s bare chest. “You know” he lick his lips, “I am craving for something now” he said seductively. “What is in it for you?” “You take Ryder and I take Stevan,we both know he is not gay so it can be easy for us to separate them.” Both of them smirk at this, they spent more time at the cafe making the plans on how they will separate them. 

A week pass and now Stevan was fighting with Ryder before school, they had told his family about his pregnancy yesterday. “whats going on here? Whats the fuss about?” Reilly said as she walk in their room, Stevan now felt like someone was going to agree with him. “I don't want Ryder to keep going to school, I worry about him and our pup.” Ryder crossing his arms in front of his chest feeling attack by his words, “so, you think I am weak and will let something bad happen to our pup? It's just school I have no PE, all I do is attend classes,” Reilly could feel her brother’s hurt. “I think a few more weeks are not going to harm him I will be with him all day, I will take care of him.” She said as she rested a hand in Stevan’s arm, he was not pleased but nod anyway. 

Everything look like a normal day, Reilly walk into school holding Steven’s hand as she give murderous looks to all the girls around. Stevan walk into school holding Ryder next to him, growling lowly at everyone who dare to look Ryder’s way. Liam and Randy walk behind the two couples feeling out of place. Liam was thinking in making new friends single friends, while Randy was jealous of what his brother and sister have because he couldn’t have her, his mate. The day went on soon it was lunch time and again all Ryder wanted was Mac and cheese, but today their was none. “Where is the macaroni cheese?” Stevan growl at the cooks, “theirs none today sorry kids,” Stevan turn to see the face his mate and it broke him. Ryder wanted to cry today has not been a good day and now their was no mac and cheese. 

They all took their seats, Stevan still holding Ryder, he wanted to make him feel better but didn't know how. Ryder try eating pizza but then feel nausea's, “I need to go to the restroom be right back.” “I’ll go with you” stevan said as he got out of his seat but Ryder shook his head, “I can go alone is just outside those doors.” Stevan sight taking back his seat, even though he wanted to with him, he knew Ryder was going to be really uncomfortable. “I have to go as well, I will walk with you” Reilly said, and Stevan felt better seeing them walk out the cafeteria together. Reilly went into the ladies restroom while Ryder went into to the guys restroom. Their was a line in the ladies, while in the guys was empty, Ryder went straight to the toilet emptying his stomach. After he was done he wash his mouth and was washing his hands when the door burst open, two big guys came in. They were dragging a smaller guy, Ryder knew the guy, he help Ryder once in math class, he is a nerd but a human. The guys dragging him are werewolves, not from his pack but still werewolves.  

“what are you two doing let him go he is just a human,” Ryder kneel next to the human guy, “are you hurt?” He couldn't ask more since one of the guys pull him by his hair, Ryder whimper lowly but the bullies still heard him. A mischievous smile appear on their faces, they were planing on hurting Ryder, one of them throw a punch to his stomach. Ryder put his hands in front of his belly preventing the bullies punch to touch him. The guy then throw Ryder to the floor, he was now really scare as the guys started kicking him. Ryder position himself in fetal form as the guys kick, ‘help!’ he mind link Stevan. When Stevan heard his mate’s scare voice he run to the restroom and when he enter his blood became cold. Two guys were kicking his pregnant mate who was doing everything he could to protect his belly. 

Stevan transform into his wolf not able to control himself he growl at the two as he took them by their shirts throwing them to the sinks. The guys crash so hard the sinks broke, Stevan stand on top of his mate still in wolf form in a pretective way as he growl at the two in front of him. Just by thinking they hurt his mate and probably his pup as well, he launch at the two ripping their heads off. Blood everywhere, two life less bodies, Stevan in his wolf form went to Ryder side. He sniff his mate, lick his face, when his nose touch Ryder's belly he felt it. A kick, their pup kicked, this made Stevan lick his mate again as Ryder sit up a bit. Ryder’s hands run through the dark fur of his mate, he is the most beautiful wolf he has ever seen. 

When the smell of blood hit the rest of the gang they all follow the smell, when the went into the restroom they saw Stevan on Ryder’s side by the floor and two bed bodies. They all where scare, Stavan not only was on his wolf form but his eyes were black, which means his wolf was in control. Reilly was the first to take a step, making her movement to alert Stevan of possible danger. He took a protective stand on Ryder side growling at the four of them. “I don’t want to hurt him just want to take him home he needs rest.” Reilly tried but it dint work, Stevan was showing his canines daring her to take another step. At this Steven took his mate’s arm pulling her to him, “its no use, he will attack you, he is an alpha and he is protecting not only his mate but his pup.” Hearing what Steven said Reilly now understood why Stevan was acting like this, when he felt they were no danger he lay next to Ryder. 

The four of them didn't know what to do they wanted to get them out of the restroom but couldn’t nothing had work so far. They where now running out of options, Ryder was enjoying the moment, Stevan had his big wolf head in his lap and his pup was moving. Feeling tired of being in the floor Ryder tried to stand but he earn a growl from Stevan who didn't want his mate to move. Stevan and his wolf feel like if they let his mate leave again he could be in danger and that's something they can’t have. He hasn’t even shift to his human form thinking he will not be strong enough to protect his mate and pup. They both can’t forget how his mate look in the floor when the two bullies where hurting him, he lets out a whimper. Ryder buries his hands in his mate fur to calm him down, he now believes he understands what his mate is going through. 

Now Ryder thinks is all his fault his mate is going through this, he is the one that insisted on coming to school and going to the restroom by himself. A lone tear roll down his cheek, “sorry, I am your mate,” Stevan’s ears perk up at what his mate just said in second a naked Stevan was holding Ryder. “Shh what are you saying love, its me who is sorry, I don’t know what I would do if something happens to you.” Ryder buries his face in his mate’s bare chest and that’s when he notice a pretty scare nerd by the toilets holding his knees while looking at them. He is about to say something but Stevan takes his face away from the boy to face him. The group outside the restroom can now smell the arousal of the pair inside, they go in interrupting the couple making Stevan growl. Steven throws his jacket to Stevan, while Randy throws his clean basketball shorts. A few days later and Stevan feels like in hell everytime he is at school, since the incident Ryder has been staying home, but now Stevan goes to school without his mate. He hates how Reilly and Steven show of their love crap while he is missing his mate. Randy in the other hand is enjoying the suffering of Stevan, the worst part for Stevan is staying after school for football practice. Liam and Randy meanwhile make jokes of how miserable Stevan looks everyday. At the pack house Ryder is exited he has been learning how to cook he wants to be a good mate for Stevan. Since he basically will be a stay home dad/mom/papa he wants to be able to cook as well.  

While he is helping in the kitchen an invite arrives, when Ryder looks at the time he heads out the kitchen wanting to go change. Aunt Ari is reading the invite she turn to Ryder giving him the invitation, “apparently alpha Zeth is throwing a ball to look for a chosen mate.” Ryder reads the invitation it says it will be thrown at the Red Moon pack, maybe he and alpha Stephan are friends. Ryder goes up to his room taking the invitation with him he plans on showing ti to everyone later when they arrive from school.
