This is the fourth book in the Novak series, Fiona's story.

There isn't much that provokes me or makes me angry, considering that I belong to a sibling group of seven. But when innocents get hurt or put in danger when they haven't done anything, I get angry. No one should ever have to feel that they aren't enough, it's a horrible feeling to bear, and the guilt you put on yourself causes you to drown in your own darkness. That's why I dream of getting to work with children and teenagers; there, I meet the love of my life. Thomas is an amazing man, and I love him more than anything until he suddenly one day disappears. After that, a monster is born that scares me more than anything else, and the worst thing is that I don't dare to ask for help. I've always believed in love and that there's something good inside everyone; now I know better.
