Chapter 5

Gavin starts from when he woke up. Gavin wakes up like usual at 7:45 to get ready for the gym. He does his morning routine and then heads out the door for the gym. He sees that the press is camped out by his building’s door, so he slips out the garage door and heads to his car. He manages to get to the gym without being seen and gets into the gym to work out with his trainer then heads to the locker room and showers. He heads to his car and finally checks his phone seeing that he has 7 missed calls from his brother, 3 missed calls from Kevin, 3 missed calls from Mattie, and 10 missed calls from his mom who is also his agent which means this is bad. He calls his mom first seeing as she is the most pressing concern at the time, and it goes to voicemail. He starts his car and the starts driving as he is leaving the paparazzi see him and rush his car. Confused and worried about his mother he starts trying to make his way through the crowd that has now formed around his car with a mix of fans and paparazzi and manages to force his car through. He jumps back on the freeway and then sees his brother calling on the Bluetooth he picks it up and immediate starts to ask if anyone is hurt or if someone needs help. His brother laughs, “that’s pretty funny coming from you right now.” Gavin wrinkles his face, “Randy what are you talking about? I have like 20 missed calls from all of you, so I thought someone was hurt like dad. What the hell is going on?” Randy takes a breath, “put your car in auto and look at your email that I sent you.” He does what Randy says and then when he opens the file it shows pictures of him and Kaya together in the hotel and kissing. Gavin starts to put two and two together, “What the f**k! How did someone see us? The entire block was deserted!” Randy lets out a gasp, “you really are thick! Don’t you know that she is followed everywhere by her own security team, so it had to be someone desperate to get a picture of her. She hasn’t been shot with a guy since her ex like four years ago. I bet Tracey sees this and blows a fuse that you started dating the Grayson empire’s princess!” Gavin starts laughing, “Yeah that would be a great outcome. Whoa!” Randy hears Gavin yell on the phone, “Gav! What’s going on? Are you okay? Where are you?”

Gavin goes to answer but his car is bumped from the side, “Whoa! f**k the paparazzi bumped my car they are trying to get pictures of me. I’m one exit from your house. f**k!” Randy hears his brother yell again and can tell there is chaos on his side of the line, “Gav pull over I’m coming to get you. Call the cops!” Gavin is about to answer his brother when he feels the hit in the back of the car and loses control of his car, so it starts to swerve to the right and close to the wall. Gavin yells, “I’m trying to get away from them Randy but it’s not working! f**k!” Randy is running to his car and hops in as his brother is yelling into the line. Gavin is about to say something to his brother, but a black SUV comes up into the view of his side mirror and hits his car sending him into a tailspin. Gavin tries to keep control of the car, but he ends up hitting the barricade and spinning a couple times before coming to a stop and the line cuts out. As the car was spinning Gavin hits his head and passes out. Randy hears the whole thing on his end of the line and speeds to the off ramp where he sees his brother’s car smashed against the barricade. He calls the police and parks his car then starts to run to his brother’s car. He gets through the now forming crowd of people and to Gavin’s window that is smashed in now. He still has the police on the phone, so he tells them that he is there with him, and the police arrive five minutes later with an ambulance. 

Randy waits while they pull him out and answers the questions for the police. When the ambulance is ready to go he gets in the ambulance and leaves with his brother. When he gets to the hospital he waits to see the admitting doctor who tells him he is going to be fine he just hit his head and needs time to wake up. Randy nods and then calls his mother and tells her what happened, so she says that everyone is going to be there quickly. Then 15 minuets his family gets there and then 1 hour after that there is a team of security rushing his family to the top floor and setting Gavin up in a private VIP suite. That is when Nancy gets a call that Kaya wants to meet with them and talk to them about what happened if they are willing to meet with her. Randy tells Nancy to say yes which she does and hangs up and then they start talking about how Gavin met Kaya, and someone took a picture of them and now this was happening. Then Gavin says, “that’s what Randy told me happened after I passed out then I remember waking up with a really sexy looking nurse name Kaya Grayson making sure that I had a whole floor to myself.” Kaya starts laughing, “come one tell me what happened next.” Gavin laughs and strokes her hair then plays with a strand in his fingers, “fine then I woke up and the doctor started to check me out and asking me questions about how I was feeling and says that I suffered a minor concussion which is what they were worried about. Then he tells me that I was transferred to this floor and that I will be his only patient for the duration of my stay compliments of the Samson’s and Grayson’s. That’s when my family came in and started telling me what happened with you and your family.” 

Kaya sighs and goes to rub her head since she is starting to get a headache again. Gavin is still playing with the lock of hair when he asks, “what’s wrong? I’m fine and I still have thing for you future Mrs. Ashford.” Kaya shakes her head as she sits up, “it’s been a long day and I still have to go back to the office in a bit and then to the clubhouse to work with the other…” Gavin cuts her off, “horsemen?” She nods a little tired and Gavin pulls her down next to him on the bed, “so what do we do about all this? I would think that the great Kaya Grayson has a plan or several now.” Kaya lays in his arms now feeling a little more relaxed surrounded by his scent and nods, “I have a few things that I have set up already and if I know my girls they are ready to get things moving with the plans that we made. I just need to figure a few things out like how to not make you a target now. I mean the press isn’t going to buy that it was a media stunt since I never get pictured with anyone except the other horsemen.” Gavin looks at her and lifts her face by her chin so she is looking at him, “would it be so bad to really date?” Kaya shrugs, “to be honest probably not but I don’t really think you want to date me. I come with a lot of baggage I mean its designer baggage but its still baggage none the less.” Gavin pulls her in close, “I would hope that you would want to try it before you think it’s just a bust.” Kaya lets out a sigh and goes to get up, but Gavin pulls her in closer now so that they are only a couple inches apart from each other. Kaya swallows harder than she intends and Gavin smiles because he notices, “I think you like me Ms. Grayson and I think that you want to be with me you just don’t know how to relax.” Kaya rolls her eyes, “You wish Mr. Ashford.” Gavin smirks, “did you just roll your eyes at me?” Kaya shrugs it off and goes to look away but before she can Gavin kisses her.

There kiss is hot and needy as she runs her fingers up his toned chest and to his broad shoulders. Then Gavin rolls on top of her trapping her beneath him, “date me and help me make the best of a f****d-up situation. Give me 6 months and if you don’t really like me in those 6 months then I will walk away, and you and I can have a nice little break up for the media. If you say yes you can say that we are dating and that will help calm the media down.” Kaya rolls her eyes and puts on her cold unreadable CEO expression, “What if I don’t want to do that? What do I get out of it? I get to worry about someone else because of me and that is not something that I want to do. What if you get hurt again?” Gavin rolls his eyes, “Well then think of this as the price you have to pay to pay me back for going through this on your account. Besides you know that you want to date me and then be boyfriend and girlfriend and then get engaged and then get married and then have kids and live happily ever after as we ride off on our white stead!” Kaya can’t help but laugh at the idiotic expression on his face as he is talking, “wow I never thought I would meet a cornier man than my father, but you have stolen his crown my good sir.” Gavin smiles, “now that I am a prince will you take me up on my offer princess? I know you want to.” Kaya lets out a sigh of defeat because she knows she is going to get nowhere with this, and she can see the reasoning is right on this. She nods, “fine I give I guess we can date for 6 months and then go our separate ways. I really don’t think you will make it 6 months with me.” Gavin wriggles his eyebrows, “yeah we will see what happens by then end of it you are going to be so in love with me that being away from me is going to be the end of everything for you.” Kaya lets out a laugh, “what makes you say something like that?” Gavin smirks, “you already said yes to a date with me before remember which means you liked me enough to want to see me again, so I have something to work with.” Kaya smirks and tries to get up and then Gavin pushes her down gently, “besides you wouldn’t just a random guy kiss you now would you Ms. Grayson. I have a feeling you don’t do very random.” Kaya can feel the heat in her chest rising to her neck but she plays it off and shrugs so Gavin goes on, “I will break through that wall of yours and before this is all over you are going to see that you are the girl I have been waiting all my life for.”

Before Kaya can answer Gavin is kissing her again and this time her hands are already on his broad shoulders. She can feel his muscles tighten and shift as he adjusts himself on the side of her and kisses her with so much passion she can feel the heat from her chest move down to her belly. This time the kiss isn’t hot and needy but filled with passion and hunger. He softy teases her bottom lip with his teeth and touches her lips with his tongue to let him into her mouth. She does and she can feel the passion of their tongues moving and fighting for dominance. A shiver runs down her spine sending goosebumps throughout her body. His tongue invades her mouth now and moment after moment she feels like she will never have enough. Their mouths are now in sync with each other, and their bodies are pushing against each other so that they are flush to each other. Her hands start to move up and down his shoulders and chest and then into his soft, thick hair. He deepens the kiss, and she lightly digs her nails into his shoulders which gains her a small moan from him and prompts him to run his hand up and down her sides feeling every curve of her body. He runs his hand down the small of her back and squeezes her hip as he moves even closer to her. He moves his leg between hers and can’t help but push up against her to feel her even more. She can feel his hard member poking her tummy which only serves to make her hotter than before. He runs his hands back up her side feeling her curves and the softness of her clothes as he moves his hand close to her shoulder lightly grazing the underside of her breast. It sends shivers down her back again so she grabs his hair with one hand and digs her nails into his should with the other. He lets out a soft low groan that makes her run her hand down to his chiseled chest and hard tones abs. She finds the entrance to the shirt of his gown and runs her nails lightly against his skin to which he grind his leg against her center. She is aching now for him, and she can feel how much he wants her now too. She can feel his member now even more so than before and it makes her want him even more. He pushes his body against her again and pulls her up she can feel everything he is doing. 

The kiss that started off with passion is now wild and hungry. He runs his hand down her back and the other is now on the back of her neck as well as holding him up and the thought that he has never wanted anyone like he wants her in his life before makes him want to never let her get go. He thinks about the fact that no woman has ever drove him so crazy after just knowing him for a few weeks and only spending one night with him. He would usually take them to dinner or hang out with them for a few months before the urge to even kiss them would hit him but with Kaya it was different he wanted her now and always. He felt that in the club and now he was sure of it she was the one for him. He deepens the kiss and Kaya can ‘t remember the last time she kissed anyone like this not even the last time she kiss Lucas this way. She is enjoying the kiss so much that she realizes that she feels like this is just right and she should be kissing him even after one night together. Gavin pulls her leg around his waist and moves his hand to hold her ass, so her body is up against him. She lets out a small moan and he starts to grind on her as she claws at his back which just makes him hungrier for her. Gavin moves his hand to the small of her back and then to her side again. She can feel his hand and moves his arm so that his hand now moves up to her breast. She smiles into the kiss and so does he as he start to message her breast and she bites his lip which makes him grind into again. She moans so he take the chance to dive his tongue in deep to her mouth to taste her again. They are so involved in the kiss that they don’t hear the knock at the door but only hear someone when they clear their throat and just like that the spell is broken and they come to a screeching halt. Kaya catches the culprit of her sever annoyance now, “Ty you better be dying and if not you soon will be.” Tyler lets out a snort, “well sorry Ky but we do have some work to get done little sister.” At hearing that Gavin’s eyes widen, and he hops off her and helps her off the bed. He feels like a teenager that has just been caught making out. Kaya however feels nothing but annoyance for her older brother, “Tyler Grayson this is Gavin Ashford.” 

Tyler smirks, “Nice to meet you Gavin.” Gavin can barely look him in the eye and Tyler lets out a laugh, “don’t worry about it I know that my little sister is not a virgin. Just so you know she has caught me so many times that…” Kaya interrupts, “that if you tell anyone about this I’m going to tell your wife all about your playbook and how you didn’t get rid of it till the night before your wedding.” Tyler looks at Kaya in shock, “you know I keep your secrets too.” Kaya shrugs, “well we keep each other’s remember siblings are always the one we have in confidence.” Tyler sighs, “good luck with this one she is a total handful but from the looks of it you can handle that. Just don’t hurt or I promise she won’t be the Grayson sibling that you must worry about and trust me when I say I don’t have to lift a finger I really don’t. Other than that, just have fun you two crazy kids. Oh, and squirt we must get back to the office. I’ll wait outside. Hurry it up.” Tyler walks out with a big grin on his face. Kaya watches him leave with an annoyed look on her face that Gavin find irresistibly cute. He pulls her in, “is he dangerous? Should I get my rabies shots?” The annoyance she was feeling melts away at that moment and she lets out a low laugh, “no we got him vaccinated years ago he is harmless, but he did mean it when he said not to hurt me Mr. Ashford.” Gavin now puts his forehead to hers and looks her in the eye, “I hope you don’t hurt me either Ms. Grayson. I really want to be with you so instead of dating how about we jump to the boyfriend and girlfriend part and call it a day?” Kaya shakes her head and rolls her eyes which make Gavin laugh as he adds on, “fine but if you want to kiss me again then you are going to honestly give this whole dating thing a chance or I won’t let you kiss me again.” Kaya makes an Oh face, “oh really well aren’t you a stingy girl.” Gavin smiles, “I’m a classy girl. I don’t kiss and tell.” Kaya smiles too, “I can see that I guess I’m just going to have to get you to put out.” Gavin laughs and then Kaya thinks of something, “wait you will be fair game for anyone who is after you if you stay too far from me. I got it! You are moving into my building and that way you won’t have to be too far for the security team to keep an eye on you. Of course, if you want to make a go of this dating thing you want to do then you need to be close since I am always so busy.” Gavin thinks it over and then realizes what she is saying, “you had this planned out didn’t you?” Kaya shakes her head, “I just thought of it. That’s the contract you want me to try 6 months of dating then you need to be in my building with your band and family. Take it or leave it.” Gavin closes his eyes and lets out a breath, “you always get what you want don’t you?” Kaya nods and Gavin lets out the breath, “fine but you have to make the time to go on dates with me just like I will for you.” Kaya smiles, “Deal. Shake on it?” Gavin pulls her close again, “I have a better idea.” He pulls her into a passion filled kiss once again and runs his hand down to her thigh and brings her leg around his waist then puts his hand back on her ass. She invades his mouth this time and lets out a soft small moan that brings them back to the hot passion filled feeling they had before then Kaya remembers the press conference and starts to slow the moment down. They end the kiss with a softness she hasn’t felt in so long and then a few soft pecks and butterfly kisses before they finally pull away. 

Kaya fixes herself in the mirror quickly and then her hair a bit more than her lipstick and turns to Gavin again. He holds her before she leaves and takes in the smell of her sweet perfume. She smiles and says, “I have to go the press conference is starting in an hour and I still need to get back. I’ll be working from the club house tonight so just facetime me if you want after 6. I really don’t want to go but I have to.” She gives him a soft little kiss as they move back so he can sit on the bed. Gavin kisses her again, “I don’t want you to go either, but you have to, or your brother will come in again and make me feel like I’m 16 again. I’ll call you tonight.” Kaya smirks, “don’t worry I can take my brother it’s my gramps that you have to watch out for, but he won’t be a problem for a while. Bernard will stay and get you and your family whatever you need no one is to come in here without being cleared by security and Bernard first. I try to come by tomorrow, but I might not be able to since I have meetings tomorrow.” Gavin pulls her in by the waist, “it’s fine me and the boys will probably just hang out while I’m here it’s almost like having a vacation sort of. Just be careful. I’ll talk to you later. Now go.” He gives her one last kiss and walks out the door. As Gavin watches her leave he lays back on the bed and lets out a big sigh while a stupid grin shows up on his face as he slowly falls asleep
