Meeting the Seven mysterious guys
Somewhere in the middle of a forest, a carriage arrived in front of an abandoned castle. Out of it, two women and men came out. One is younger and the other is older.
The man turns to the younger lady, “Erica, I want you to keep a request of mine, can you keep it?”.
The silver-haired maiden with light blue eyes looks at the man and frowned.
“What do you mean by that Father?”.
“I mean, I have a task for you.”
“What task?”.
The woman placed a hand on her shoulder and replied, “You need to wait for us inside the castle. Dear and I have some work to attend to. We will come to get you after our work is done.”
Erica frowned at the woman and replied in an uneasy tone, “But,” she glanced behind at the castle and turned to her mother.
“That castle looks scary.”
“I know it does,” replied her dad. But don’t worry, there’s nothing inside it. you’ll need to wait for 10 minutes. Mother and I will come after meeting the guest who lives a bit away from here. When we finish, we will come to get you.”
“No need to worry.”
She glanced down at her hands and replied after a bit of thought, “Alright then.”
“I’ll wait for you two. Come back soon though, I didn’t have lunch yet.”
Her Dad and Mom nodded.
She opens the gate which opened easily and walked inside it. Her parents get inside the carriage and it left right away.
She felt an eerie atmosphere surrounding the castle even though this was noon. Fallen leaves were being crushed under her feet as she stopped near the big gate. she kept glancing here and there as if searching for something scary to come up any moment now.
She crossed her arms in front of her chest and glanced down at the leaves under her feet, “I don’t understand, why those stupid parents of mine left me in this castle, to begin with.”
“They could’ve left me somewhere nice instead of dumping me here.”
"Even though one year has passed since I was reincarnated, I still don't understand what goes through their minds."
"Ugh, why do I always have bad luck with my parents in that previous life and even in this life also?".
A scenery flashes before her eyes. The faint voices of people who were yelling her name. but the voice soon faded as she entered the depths of the waterfall.
She reached out her hand towards the light as if seeking help. But her consciousness was slowly fading away.
She heaved a sigh as she looked up at the sky.
“I wonder if that kid is alright now?”.
“That was the last time I had seen him while I was alive.”
“My first camping trip with my class ended as well.”
“There’s not a second chance to experience anything any longer. What a stupid life it is.”
A shiver ran down her back as she looked up at the castle with uncertain thoughts.
She was admiring the abandoned castle covered in dust and dirt. Her eyes narrowed as something was lingering in her heart.
“Looks sad.”
She adverted her eyes sideways lost in thoughts.
She heard a bell echoing from a distance. Before she could react a strong force of wind came over to her side and she closed her eyes with her hands in response.
When the wind stopped blowing, she opens her eyes slowly.
“What was that suddenly?” she murmured, only to see something standing in front of her.
She looked up to see a man standing in front of her.
It was over 6 feet tall. Her eyes widened for a second seeing him.
“What?”.
Inside her stood a tall guy with spiky brown hair. His green eyes were peering into her soul for eternity. They were fixated on her.
She gulped for a second before examining him twice from top to toe.
“Who’s this? I was in front of the castle a second ago.”
He was hindering her view, making it impossible for her to see something behind him.
And the guy kept staring at me intensely. This made it hard for her to keep thinking.
She wanted to speak up, but her thoughts went numb.
“What’s going on in here? Why’s he looking at me like this?”.
“Someone help me out.”
“Hey, you are scaring her out Luke, stop it.” someone asserted from behind.
She turns behind her to see a room full of people. On the couch, boys were sitting watching her with intense admiration.
Her jaw dropped for a second in surprise.
“Huh?”.
“I wasn’t trying to scare her out though,” the one who stood in front of her replied.
“I was making sure that she wasn’t too scared of us.”
"But, I guess she's much of a scaredy cat."
Erica became angry the next second hearing that.
She turned to the man who stood in front of her and pointed at him, "I'm not scared of you at all! and I'm not a scaredy cat."
"Is that so?" added a voice behind her.
She glanced behind her to see a boy getting up from his seat.
He had blond hair which he kept tied in a half-ponytail while some of the locks fell over his face. He came over to her side and stood in front of her. He was as tall as the first guy.
He bents down a little, finally at eye level with Erica who was quite shorter than them.
A smile formed on his lips. He placed his hands into his pocket and commented, "If you weren't afraid of Luke, then why was it hard for you to get the words out of your mouth?".
Erica's throat goes dry hearing that.
"That's...that's because.....".
“I think there’s no reason to scare the s**t out of her right yet.” Added a voice interrupting them.
A guy with long black hair walked up to them. He examined Erica closely.
She stared at his cat-like ash eyes.
She was puzzled why he was staring at her like that.
“You-“ when she was about to say something, he grabbed her by the hands without saying anything and pulled her close to him.
Everyone’s eyes followed them only.
He stared at her features, looking at her eyes and lips.
“W-what are you doing?” she stuttered.
“Let me go!”.
“Beautiful,” he murmured, kissing her forehead.
Erica’s face became a little red out of nervousness.
“What’s going on in here?”.
“I think that’s enough playtime for the day!” another voice interrupted, grabbing onto her the hand that the previous guy had held onto.
Erica looked at him.
He had a bob cut with brown hair some of the strands fell onto his face. His amber eyes were glowing in rage.
She glanced down at his hands, they were bulky and muscular, and his grips were strong as well.
The previous guy clicked his tongue in response.
“Aren’t you getting ahead of yourself, Lupin?”.
“This isn’t how we said we were going to play at all!”.
He stood in front of Erica, and replied, “I was just trying to stop you all from making a mess of yourselves in front of her right away. You are ruining your impression, Orion.”
The one with black hair clicked his tongue again, glaring at the one with brown hair who stood in front of Erica.
“I hate this thing about you Lupin, always showing that you are superior to all of us out there. I think you forget something.”
He clenched his fists tightly.
“That all of us here are royal blood, including you and me.”
“So, there’s no point in showing us that you are superior and we are not.”
Lupin sighs and replied with a plain face, “You are-“.
“Enough!” another voice shouted, drawing his attention to everyone in the room.
The one with blond hair who was sitting on the sofa relaxingly all this while came up to Lupin and eyed him.
“Hand her to me. I can’t watch this any longer.”
He held out his hand to Lupin.
Lupin sighs in defeat.
“Fine.”
“Here you go.” He casually handed her over to the blond guy.
Erica backed away in defense.
She looked at him with curious eyes. His beauty was something that was not worth comparing to anything out there.
His aquamarine blue eyes were mesmerizing.
“Come with me,” he said, taking her by the hand, and dragging her towards the sofa.
“W-what? Where’s he taking me?”.
“Sit down!” he commanded, pointing to the couch.
She was nervous in his presence but still sits down without asking anything else in return.
Her hands and legs were trembling in anxiety.
All seven surrounded her, watching her as if she were their prey.
She glanced down at her hands in fear
“Why do I feel that I have done something irreversible by entering this castle?”.
“This wasn’t how it was supposed to end up.”
“Just what the heck is going on in this house?”.
“Who are these weird and hot, good-looking guys? They are scaring me out.”
“Mom and Dad, take me back. I don’t want to stay here!”.
“I think we can talk better this way,” said the blond hair guy, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
Erica’s throat starts to go dry with every passing minute.
“Human girl, name yourself.” He commanded with one of the coldest eyes ever existed.
“Huh?” she gave a puzzled face back in response.
