*Who could this be?* Pearl asks quickly becoming territoral. *I don't know.* I tell her as I study the beautiful car infront of me. *Whoever it was,* Pearl starts. *got out of the car.* Pearl was right. There was nobody in the drivers seat nor on the passenger side. I throw the car in park and turn the key to the ignition. "Mason, stay here." I tell him. "Mommy will be right back, okay?" "Okay mommy." He tells me. He looks so clueless to what was going on. I unbuckle me seatbelt and get out the car. I can feel the hum under my skin, my eyes turning, glowing blue. My sense of smell hieghtened. Even then I didn't sense anyone. That eased my anxiety a little. Quietly eased my way to the porch steps. I can hear someone breathing. They were still and very relaxed, taking long deep breaths. I step up on to the porch trying not to make a sound. I can make out a lengthy figure laying across the porch swing. It was none other than Alpha. I walk up to the porch swing, careful not to disturb him. "Mmhm." I clear my throat trying to wake him. He didn't budge. Great. That didn't work. I take a second to study his sleeping face. His thick dark hair falling back. You could tell he had naturally dark skin. He had short trimmed beard and mustache with a five o'clock shadow coming in. His lips a nude pink. He had a sharp dfined nose and thick eyelashes I could only dream of having. *God* Pearl purrs. *If he ain't a wet dream.* *Shut up!* I tell her, blush rising in my cheeks. He looks so peaceful, streched out on the porchswing. He was still wearing the same clothes he had been last night at the celebration. His shirt was an off white, speckles with gray and burn orange. It was of very nice quality. He was wearig a nice pair of dark yellow-washed blue jeans that looked perfect for him. His combat style boots matched his jacket with the darkness of the leather. As I'm looking at him, the wind picks up causing his hair to blow in the breeze. I had settled covering part of his forehead and eyebrows. Before I realize what I'm doing, I extend my arm and reach out my hand. I barely more his hard to the side and his hand is tight around me wrist. His eyes pop open, glowing orange. It all happen so fast it startled me. Causing me to jump and jerk back. "What are you doing?" He asks in a deep tone. "Don't you know it's rude to wake people?" I quit resisting, I can't go very far with his death grip anyway. I could feel he was barely putting in any effort to keep me there. Bt still he didn't let go. "I-I-" I start to stutter. "I'm sorry Alpha." I bow my head in submission, tilting my head to the side exposing my neck, showing him I'm no threat. He lets go of my wrist and sits up. I rub the part of my wrist where his hand had been. "You still didn't answer." He states waiting for me to reply. "Pardon me, Alpha," I start. "if I may, I could ask you the same question. You were asleep on my front porch swing after all." *Are you CRAZY?* Pearl asks frantically. *That is our ALPHA.* *Yeah I know.* I tell her as I watch the expression on his face change. *But he was asleep on MY porch.* "I was waiting on you." He says causing my heart to skip a beat. "On me?" I ask surprised. "Yes Ms. Tate." He says with a voice laced with honey. "On you." *Ohh.* Pearl sats which made he sound like she melted. "Umm," Is all I can manage to say. He was intimidating in the light of day. I really didn't know what I had done but hoped I hadn't pissed him off. He was very hard to read. "'Um.'?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "Give me just a minute please?" I tell him and wait for a reply. He nodded his head and crossed his arms over his massive chest. His biceps bulging through dark leather. I turn to go to my car, stopping before I take a step. "I'll be right back." I say before I step off the porch. I walk down the stairs and across the yard to the car. I go to the passenger side rear door and open it. I unbuckle Mason from the carseat and take him up on the porch. I let him down as I stop to unlock the front door. Once I unlock it, I notice Alpha's eyes watching me. "Baby," I say looking at Mason. "Go inside and play, mommy will be inside shortly okay?" "Okay, mommy." His replies in a small cute voice. "Mommy, just needs to talk to Alpha for a minute." I tell him. "Okay mommy." He says before running inside. I can tell he ran to his room from the sound of his footsteps fading in the house. Surely he went to watch cartoons on the television in his room. I could hear him shut the door to his room. Okay , there's at least a sound barrier just incase Alpha is going to chew me out from smoking at the party last night. I shut the front door and make my way back to the porch swing. Back to him. Back to my Alpha. I stand in front of him, quietly waiting on what was to come.
