We were all guilty of falling headlong
For the persuasive passions of this world;
We all have had our fill of indulging the flesh and mind,
Obeying impulses to follow perverse thoughts
Motivated by dark powers. As a result,
Our natural inclinations led us to be children of wrath,
Just like the rest of humankind.

LUCIFER
Lucifer's hand froze above the button which operated the hatch. He stepped backwards, right into Eligor.
"Would you like me to come in with you, Sir?" Eligor placed a hand on the back of one wing, a not-too-subtle reminder that, if necessary, he'd pick him up and drag him in there, wings flapping like a waterfowl about to meet the butcher's hatchet.
Lucifer flicked his hand in a disdainful twist.
"It's only sick bay."
