Chapter 6

Madam Caterina has been filled with the thoughts of who she would travel with to the upcoming seminar that would be organized by the Touchblaze Media.

She knows that whoever she decides to go with to the seminar would determine how the occasion would turn out to be for her,and she really needs to enjoy every bit of it as she might not get the opportunity to go on a vacation.

Friedrick knocked at the door to his boss' office..

"Come right in," Madam Caterina said, wondering who could be knocking.

"Goodday ma'am," Friedrick greeted.

Caterina stared at Friedrick, the look on face demanded an explanation as to where he was coming from and what he had been up to.

"I am sorry for being late to the office, ma'am. I had so much to attend to in the new apartment I rented," he explained.

"Mr Lucas, you have to take this job seriously else I would not have any other choice than to relieve you of your duties," she warned sternly.

Caterina knows it would be difficult for her to relieve Friedrick off his duties in the office, sacking him equally means she would be hurting her own self, but she knows that for the company to continue

to be at the standard it has maintained over the years, she needed to learn how to combine her pleasures with business.

"I am sorry ma'am," he apologized again.

He went to his office to do some work. Friedrick could hardly concentrate on his job, the thoughts of Kim filled his head, he brought out the complimentary card in his pocket and kissed it. He has promised himself that he would call her as soon as he closes from work.

"Mr Lucas, you would be following me to the next upcoming seminar that would be held by Touchblaze Media '' Mrs Caterina said, walking into Friedrick's office.

Friedrick looked up, only then did he realize that he had kept the door to his office ajar.

"Hello ma'am,but I do not know what that seminar is all about. I would not mind if you can throw more light," he said looking up.

"Well, it is more like a conference, lots of knowledge is passed as different persons would be hired to mentor the participants and one also gets to relax and have fun, it is actually a great experience," she explained.

"Ok ma'am,so what do I have to do?" Friedrick asked.

"All you have to do is to get some of your clothes packed in your suitcase and also come along with your laptop and iPad, there would be lots of things to learn over there", she told him.

"And you have to send me a text message to inform me if you would be going with me or not, it is okay if you would not like to go with me, I can always pick another staff member to go with me,'' she added.

"I will give you a feedback ma'am," he replied.

As she left the office almost immediately.

Friedrick took his time to go through the website of the Touchblaze, he finds out that the seminar is more like a vacation through the pictures of the past events he saw on the internet.

"Why would she want to go with me to this type of seminar," he asked himself.

His lips curled up with a kind of smile that suggests he already knows 'why' , he knows that he is gradually beginning to fuel the desires of his boss, it would not be easy for her to come out open to say exactly what she would really want, but Friedrick understands the game of the heart so well.

It was obvious that his madam was beginning to loosen up a bit, else who would want to attend such occasion with an opposite s*x without having a string attached.

After going through the website and finding out what the seminar is all about, he was sure he would not like to miss this great opportunity to be with his boss.

'I just hope he decides to go with me' Caterina thought to herself.

The thoughts of Friedrick turning down her request of going with her to the seminar filled her mind, she has never been turned down by any of her staff and the flings she has had with Friedrick could make him want to start playing with her emotions.

Caterina in all she does decides she is going to keep her head straight and maintain her dignity.

'Would that ever be possible for her to be able maintain her dignity as he has found herself in a deep occasion of love for her staff,she silently prays that Friedrick does not disrespect her because of her weakness'.

"I know this is not going to be easy on me, but I would have to do it still, I have already made up my mind to go with Friedrick, no matter what it would result," she said to herself.

The feeling of joy swept through her as she remembers the last time she was with Friedrick it was nothing but a moment of pure bliss.

At her age,men still find her attractive, or would she say that they just wanted to enjoy all that they would be getting from? Whatever be the reason, she is going to enjoy herself to the full and continue to enjoy the attention that comes with it.

A text message popped up in her phone and she picked up to check what the message was about.

From the smiles that widened her beautiful face, it was obvious the text message was a good one. Friedrick had sent her a text message informing her that he would be following her to attend the upcoming seminar.

This was the best moment for Madam Caterina, she was so glad that it was difficult for her to conceal her happiness. She worked on some files and decided to go home.

As she got into the car to go back home, she smiled all through. Knowing fully well that the occasion is not just about work, but then, she has to trend with caution since there would be lots of people at the seminar. She hopes to be able to control the desires of her heart.
