Ian parker stepped out of his 3-hour long class feeling exhausted and famished.
"Ian" Jason called.
"Hey dude"
"I take that as your first day as a junior didn't go well."
He shook his head. "No"
Jason snickered.
"Where are you headed?"
"Cafeteria, couldn't grab breakfast"
"Well good thing I'm hungry too.” He said as they walked the the cafeteria to gather. "I didn't see you at Caleb's".
"Yeah. I had to leave early."
"Let me guess. Eros showed up and dragged you out of there" he said with a sneer.
Silence
"He didn't drag me out of there, I wanted to leave."
Jason shook his head . "I just don't get that dude".
"You don't need to. I get him"
"What! Ian, I think Eros is using you. You always do whatever he asks of you. That is bullshit".
"You don't know what you're saying Jason" Ian opened the door to the cafeteria, and Jason trailed behind him.
Ian stood behind the last person in the long queue waiting to order his food.
"Really? You joined the queue?"
"I'm not cutting line Jason. These people obviously got here before me, it's only sensible to wait my turn".
"See you in 5 years" Jason said walking to the front of the queue.
