Revan entered his room and then loosening his tie he sat on the chair and leaned back to relax and suddenly whatever happened in lift was bothering him`, ‘why did she ignore me as if we never knew each other after all that happened between us.’
“she looked as if my words didn’t matter to her.” he said, Leaning his back on the chair staring at the ceiling.
“she looked happy with him…!!! Why?......” he chokingly with tears falling drop by drop.
“but that baby…. I mean Samuel, he is so adorable. I felt as if I was holding my baby though it wasn’t mine. Maybe because he was Jennifer’s son, whom I loved more than anyone in my life.”
‘Meanwhile on the other hand Secretary Gao went to meet Jennifer to talk her.
KNOCK KNOCK………
“coming……” Jennifer blurted walking briskly to open the door.
“Jennifer we need to talk now” he sounded serious.
“why did you come here, what if someone see us together.” She was tensed.
“Jennifer please don’t make things complicated for both of us. Let me come inside then you can ask me anything.” He was angry which was evident in his voice.
“okay come in…” she opened the door for him
Both entered the room and Jennifer closed the door behind them and then she prepared a cup of coffee and served him and then they started their conversation.
“Jennifer why did you come back ?!!” he asked in confusion.
“Dad asked me to come back” she replied.
“what!!... you mean chairman, Robert Williams” he was shocked at Jennifer’s reply.
“yeah….. and he asked me to help him out with his new project” she explained.
“But do you even know that Revan is incharge of this project and that too Chairman himself asked him to assist you personally” he said with disbelief.
“ Even I am shocked as you are” she said .
“but what if he gets to know about……” he was cut through by his words.
“Gao, he can never know about Samuel, that he is his son.” She said with tears in her eyes.
“But you know when Revan held his son he stopped cry, I am very happy atleast my baby got a chance to be in his father’s embrace.” She said with satisfaction.
“Gao we cannot let Revan know about this truth. What if she will harm my baby….!!!” She cried her heart out.
“Jennifer chairman and me, we will never let anything happen to you and Samuel” he assured.
“I will go now or else he will doubt on me” he said and went to Revan’s Room and then both had their lunch and rested for a while and started their work. After an hour Gao went back to his room and then Revan took a nap.
Jennifer who was worried that she will have to face Revan everyday and that there is no way that she can escape from him. Jennifer had already accepted her fate but today once again she was in a situation when once she had to chose between her family and Revan and today between her son and Revan. She always tried to stay away from Revan ever since she got Separated from him eight years ago.
‘ Samuel is not just my baby its our Baby Revan…..which I can never tell you. He is just a month old baby, I cannot risk his life for my happiness…. Revan. you think Samuel is James son but truth is something else which is impossible even for me to explain you and make you believe that.’
Jennifer Started crying and cursing herself to pull her son into such a mess. She then brushing her son’s head she was once again remembering what has happened between Revan and her an year ago which was the reason she had Samuel in her life.
