“You…!!” Jennifer blurted.
‘Revan….. what is he up to ‘, “it’s me your Ex-boyfriend……” he said mockingly.
“And this is your baby?!!!... Jennifer…. Oh, not Mrs. Lia john” he then stopped to see her reaction but there was none.
“where is your husband, James Bradford,” he said annoying her but she didn’t even utter a single word and she stood there as if he wasn’t talking to her.
“don’t tell me he ditched you!!!.... hahaha” he added.
‘Why is she acting as if I am some stranger to her’
Suddenly the power went off and lift stopped, there was silence for a minute. meanwhile, Revan saw that Jennifer was gasping for breath and Revan knew that she gets scared and can’t breathe in a closed place. Baby in her hand also started to cry and Revan didn’t know what to do. Suddenly Jennifer couldn’t hold her baby any longer and she asked Revan to hold on to her baby.
“Revan please hold my baby” she begged for his help.
Revan held the baby and baby stopped crying at once. Revan was shocked for a minute and when he came back to his sense he saw the baby was l*****g his finger. ‘Why it feels so real to me as if I’m holding to my child. I never felt this feeling even when I held steve in my hand. Kind of happiness I always wanted is here that kind of feeling I feel.
Suddenly the lift door opened…….
“Jennifer are you alright. How is my Samuel, is he alright.” James Bradford asked with concern and worry at the same time.
Revan who happy for a moment was angry now to see the man he hated and who once was his Best Buddy. Jennifer walked towards Revan and took her baby but the baby held to Revan’s sleeve and was not ready to leave him. Revan then bending forward took baby’s had hand and kissed it and baby left the sleeve and baby was smiling at Revan.
“James baby and me, we both are alright.” She tried to calm James.
“Give Samuel to me, you know right it's not even a month after your delivery.” He said worrying for her.
“I know, I’m sorry. Next time I won’t go alone.” She said.
Revan who was standing beside her felt as if he was invisible and no one will ask for him. Meanwhile, Gao came running shouting his name but when he saw Jennifer his footsteps stopped and kept staring at her with an expression as if she was a ghost.
“Sir!!!.... are you alright,” he asked with concern evident on his face.
“don’t worry I’m fine” he assured.
“But I think..... they are not so fine,” he said mockingly.
Gao rubbing his forehead with tension “Sir, I think you need to take some rest”.
James giving death stare at Revan” Jennifer come let’s go to our room” he said making Revan angry and left to their room.
‘so that means he is her husband. She left me for that jerk. I am more handsome than him and 10 times more richer to him. There is no comparison between us then what made her choose him over me.’ Suddenly Gao interrupted Revan's thoughts.
“Sir here is your room keys,” he said.
He then went to his room to take some rest.
