Chapter 4 Threat

"Yes. Please go ahead and visit our site," Ding Zhigang said with delight, looking up at Wanqing, "Wanqing, pour some wine for Mr. Mu!" Wanqing glanced at him guardedly, then approached the table, picked up the bottle of red wine, and slowly poured it into the wine glass in front of Mu Tianyang. After pouring, she noticed he was looking at her, and she awkwardly smiled, saying, "Please enjoy, Mr. Mu." Just as she was about to walk away, he suddenly grabbed her hand. Startled, she was about to speak out when his other hand grabbed her chin, his thumb lightly stroking her lips, saying, "I don't like women who wear lipstick." Terrified, Wanqing quickly broke free from his grasp and ran to Ding Zhigang's side: "Dad—" Mu Tianyang picked up his wine, giving her a fleeting glance. Ding Zhigang pressed her down into the seat, saying, "Mr. Mu is just joking with you. I’m going to the restroom, you start eating." "No…" Wanqing tried to hold him back, but he had already quickly walked away. Wanqing saw he wasn’t heading to the restroom but towards the restaurant's exit, realizing she had been betrayed, she got up and ran. Mu Tianyang remained seated, unmoved, pouring himself another glass of wine and slowly savoring it. Wanqing ran out of the restaurant, suddenly grabbed by two men in black suits and sunglasses, resembling mobsters from a movie. She struggled, screaming, "What are you doing? Let me go!" "We are Mr. Mu's men," one of the men said, "Miss Ding, please wait here for Mr. Mu." Startled, Wanqing looked back at the restaurant to see Mu Tianyang leisurely walking towards them. She struggled a few more times, but to no avail. Mu Tianyang approached her, waved his hand, and the two men released her, quickly disappearing from sight. He caressed her face, saying, "Your dad sold you to me for a piece of land worth two billion. Do you feel valuable?" "You… you jerk!" "Do you want to save your mom?" he asked. Wanqing paused, looking at him. He continued, "Your dad won’t care about you anymore. If you listen to me, your mom can have her surgery tomorrow with the best doctors, the best medicine, everything will be the best. Otherwise, she won’t even have a hospital room tomorrow." Wanqing stared at him for a long time, then silently lowered her head, her shoulders trembling. She didn’t curse, make a scene, or leave. Mu Tianyang, satisfied, said, "You're sensible. This way, you won't suffer."
