Chapter 10 Nancy, You Should Die

715 Words
When Tim came, it was just seven o'clock. He entered punctually. "Here you are." Sitting in front of the mirror, Nancy spent three hours just to make herself look not so pale. She was barely in good looks. Tim's face showed seriousness and fury, "Nancy, you should die." Nancy felt painful in heart, "What?" "Rachel had a miscarriage." Nancy were stunned for a second, but she quickly responded, "You think that I hit her today, so she had a miscarriage, right?" "Isn't it?" Tim asked, "You can do anything to me. Why do you hurt Rachel? She never hurts anyone!” Nancy shook her head, "Tim, you don't know much about women." "I don't need to." "You do." Nancy stood up and turned back, "For a woman, the most important thing is child. She will spare no effort to protect him, and will not let him be in any danger, even with her own life. " Tim said coldly, "You have never been a mother. Are you qualified to say that?" Nancy looked firm, "No one is more qualified than me, specially Rachel. If she knew that she was pregnant, she would not try every means to come here and say those words to irritate me to hit her.” Tim suddenly became furious. He grabbed her by the neck and tightened his fingers slightly, "Nancy, if something happens to Rachel, I will have you buried with her." She breathed more and more difficultly, and gradually felt the pain of suffocating, but she was smiling, "Really?." "I do what I say." "Oh." Nancy pointed to the hand that still pinched on her neck, "I know. Can you let go of me now?" Tim did not let go of her, still staring at her, "What do you want?" Nancy smiled, "You may not believe it. From beginning to end, I only want you." Tim threw her on the bed, and his huge strength made her cough again. All that came to her ear was his cold and piercing voice, "You dream." There was a thick smell of blood in her throat. She forced herself to swallow all the blood. Then she stood up as if nothing had happened and went to hold his hand, "Let's go, let's see the stars." Tim quickly dodged her hand, "I only promised you to look at the stars. Don't touch me." Tim didn’t give her any face. Fortunately, the sky was starry tonight. The moon was big and round, like a silver bronze mirror. The scattered stars were shining around. It was quiet Tim said, "I checked the weather forecast. It will be cloudy and rainy from tomorrow until the end of the month." Nancy nodded, "And then?" "On a cloudy day, there will be no stars." Nancy did not agree, "On a cloudy day, dark clouds will cover the stars. They do not disappear. They have always been there, but you can not see them." Just like her, the stars were not as bright as the sun, but she was always there and never left. She was waiting for Tim to turn around. In recent years, Nancy thought more than once that as long as Tim was willing to look back, even if it was just a smile or a word of concern, she could rush to him regardless of herself. However Not once. His eyes and his heart, have been firmly occupied by another person. There was no room for her to exist. Tim said, "I mean, after tonight, in the following six days, there is no need to look at the stars." "Don't you want to come and watch the stars with me?" Tim laughed sarcastically, "What do you think? My parents all died in your father's hands. If it wasn't for Rachel, do you think I would accompany a vicious ungrateful person to see bullshit stars? " The wind on the roof was a little strong. She sat on the side, her legs hanging in the midair. Her skirt and loose hair swayed high in the wind. And Tim stood behind her. His right hand stretched out, and was about to touch her thin back. She suddenly opened her mouth, as if to see all his movements clearly, "Do you really want to push me down?"
