A miracle

Nathan I can safely say that I am addicted to my wife and she, to me. I can feel her body vibrating against mine. She is close. I love how she screams my name when she reaches her peak. She has been trying to mask her moans because of all the rumours, but I don’t care if anyone hears us making love. She curves her back and sinks her nails on my back as I thrust deeper into her addictive core. “Nathan! Oh, Nathan!” she moans, fuelling my out of control hormones. I feel like I am going to explode when her movements match mine. I don’t think I have ever been affected by a woman like this in my entire life. My wife is everything! “You like that?” I ask, burying my head on her neck and kissing her. “Yes, don’t stop,” she encourages and moans. We are caught up in our own world when our bedroom door swings open and over ten old men and women walk in. I quickly get off Amari and pull the bedcovers to cover our nakedness. “Oh, thank God, it’s him!” Mrs Dunlop exclaims. “Of course, it’s him. I knew all along,” Mrs Gail responds while they all give her the “are you for real” look. “Oh, please, you would not be here if you thought it was him,” sister Harvey sneers. I am now amused because I know why they are here, but my wife is still shocked. “Mrs Gail? Brother Aron, Sister Harvey…oh my word there’s more of you!” Amari exclaims when more of our church members squeeze into our bedroom. I guess they all want to witness this with their own eyes. “What are you all doing here?” Amari add and I can see her nostrils flaring. My ball of cuteness. They all exchange looks. “And?” Amari snaps. “We..we heard the screams and came to investigate.” Someone at the back responds. “Oh my God, you are all crazy!” Amari exclaims while I c***k up. Amari knocks my side with her elbow, but this is too funny. “Shut up! You told us that he was impotent. We had to make sure that you don’t do something stupid,” Mrs Gail hits back and I can’t hold back my laughter. My bestie has my back and even willing to challenge my wife. “I never told you that!” Amari exclaims. “Well…the television people did and …” “And nothing! How did you even get in?” Amari is now furious. It’s taking everything in me not to laugh. Our intruders exchange looks before brother Aron confesses. “Don’t be mad, my dear. I picked your lock.” I remember him telling me that he used to be a locksmith. I also know that he has bad eye sight. I clear my throat, because I can imagine all of them impatiently waiting for him to pick our lock. “That is illegal. Get out of my apartment! All of you!” Amari yells at them. Her reaction is really amusing. “Don’t be mad, Dear. Nathan is all yours. You can continue where you stopped when…” “Out, all of you!” Amari roars, cutting Mrs Gail off. They all flee. That on its own is too funny. A bunch of old men and women trying to squeeze out of our bedroom door at the same time. Amari throws herself on the bed and shakes her head. “Don’t touch me,” she warns and turns to face away when I reach out to touch her. “Babe?” “They are all your friends and you think this is funny,” she accuses and huffs when I chuckle. I get closer to her and wrap my arms around her. I rebuke my unrestrained manhood when it reacts to her warmth. It’s not helping that we are completely naked under these sheets. “Breaking into someone’s apartment is drastic for anyone who is not a criminal,” I say. She does not respond, nor does she turn to look at me. “Those are very old respected members of this community. Why do you think they did this?” She remains quiet, but I know that she will get my point very soon. “These people love you, Amari. You might not see it right now, but believe me, you are blessed with a priceless gift that even the wealthiest of men can never buy,” I proceed and she finally turns to look at me. “Sometimes love can be annoying, and intrusive, but believe me, there is nothing more worthy. Being all alone, discovering that the people you thought loved you, actually did not and having no one who cares whether you did right or wrong. That is…” “Nathan,” she calls to me softly. She gets really sad when I talk about how my so called friends betrayed and deserted me. “Babe, you have a big loving family here and you are the favourite child. They can be a little crazy, but I am so grateful to have married you and became a part of it.” She raises her sexy eyebrows. “A little?” she asks. “They picked our lock and budged in while we were…” I can’t help but laugh and she rolls her eyes. “I know how lucky I am, Nathan, but they are too much at times,” she complains. At least she’s not mad anymore. “I think that’s exactly how families are, My love.” “Fine, but you are wrong about the last part. I was the favourite child, not anymore. You have pushed me to second place,” she says. I don’t think I can ever replace her, but her people have really taken me in. I shrug my shoulders and burst out into laughter when she rolls her eyes. The following church service feels different. Even the members whom I was convinced did not like me and those who never said a word to me, come to greet and introduce themselves. The old men and woman who broke into our apartment are either winking at me or have very witty remarks. The service is in progress and sister Harvey is meant to lead the offering service. Instead of reading the verse, she derails. “Our Lord works in mysterious ways. He heals the sick and wakes the dead. He has performed a miracle for our dear brother Lord. The marriage has been consummated. He can now love his wife to the fullest. We saw it with our own eye.” “I can’t believe this!” Amari cries while the congregation shouts, “Amen!” “Hallelujah for brother and sister Lord!” Mrs Gail shouts. I am in stitches, but my wife is not impressed. All this, everyone on your business because they truly care, is intriguing to me. I can’t believe that I missed on so much fun growing up. “Come on, Babe. These people love and care about you. They just…” She gives me the I dare you look and I can’t complete my sentence. She goes to talk to the Shepherdess while I chat with Isaac, who also has a lot of witty remarks. “Hallelujah, brother Lord,” he beams. “Seriously, man?” “The marriage is consummated. That is a reason to celebrate,” he continues while I shake my head. He suddenly becomes serious. “No, really, man. Some people did not really recognise your marriage, until now.” I narrow my eyes, trying to analyse his words. Amari and I took our vows. Whether we consummated or not does not change that she is my wife. “It is no secret that her uncle and his family tricked into marrying you. That, to some, made your vows null and void. I believed that too until I saw you together,” he explains. “And?” I ask. “And what?” “You believed it until you saw what exactly?” I ask, curious. “Oh, please, I know that you have been in this game and you know when a woman is into you.” “And you think that my wife is into me?” He laughs and shakes his head. “I am not going to boast your ego now, brother Lord.” “Come on, man. I need to hear it,” I plead. It’s no secret that I am head-over-heels in love with my wife. I am certain that she loves me too, but there is always that thing in the back of my head that I completely missed how Ella and my so called friends pretended to love me. “Okay, here it is. Amari might have been tricked into marrying you, but you had her heart way before that.”
