When I left her at the counter my wolf was barking and growling at me.

" She is our mate don't let her alone"

- She is a human, even if she is our mate, she can't be Luna.

- "How stupid you are my Goddess! Turn back, look at her"

-  No. I , Ryder Shadow soon to be Alpha of the Full Moon pack reject... I don't know her name...

" - Dumb ass at least get to know her a little before you make our life's biggest mistake!"

- Okay now shut up. -  I looked for Matthew and Eric they were relaxing a little in the corner.

-Hey where did you disappear? - Matthew asked while he was drinking his beer.

- I was chatting with the bartender girl. – at that second they turned to the bar's direction and Eric whistled.

- She is hot! - my wolf growled and Matthew noticed it.

- What’s wrong Ryder? - Eric noticed as well and they were looking surprised at me.

- Nothing.

- So it is not a problem if I ask for her phone number - Eric said and the air could've been cut with a knife between us because of the tension. Although I knew he was just trying my patience,  I managed to keep calm, more or less.

- Go I don't care - that moment my wolf howled and it caused a terrible headache. Matthew and Eric noticed it and came to grab me to prevent me from falling to the floor.

 - " HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT?!

- Hey Ryder are you okay? Even we could hear your wolf, what’s wrong with him? - Matthew asked very nervously.

- He thinks that the bartender girl is my mate - Matthew and Eric looked at each other. - But I want to reject her, she is a human.

- Are you a complete i***t Ryder?! - Eric asked and let his hold of me.

- No, but she can't be a Luna! And I don't want her as my mate.

- Listen at least give her a chance. For your wolf's sake... He will torture you all your life if you reject his mate without a real reason. - "HE IS RIGHT! - My wolf screamed.

- "You won't be an Alpha if you do this to her! Or you will,  but it would be interesting since I have never seen a wolf less Alpha!”

- Okay! I give her a chance just stop torturing me! –my wolf finally shut up and we went dancing a little and I was constantly checking on the mermaid-looking girl. When her shift ended I saw her searching for someone and my heart filled with worry and love at the same time. I waited a little more to be sure she is searching for me and went to her. I put a hand on her shoulder but I got her out of guard so much, that she almost fell off the chair. I caught her and noticed that she is very fragile but has some little toned muscles.

- Hi! – I said and she blushed a little.

- Hello! Thanks for catching me, I would've listened to this all the rest of the month. - I smiled at her, she was still in my arms and it felt so right holding her.

- Anytime. Can I invite you for a drink?

- Actually, I don't drink but that is very kind of you. Are you alone here?

- No,  I came with my friends.

- Don't call yourself that way again! -My wolf took over control and it strengthened our hold on her. He got very angry at her for not respecting herself! - Your parents are probably afraid if you arrive home too late - as I said this I regretted it. Her eyes filled with sadness and she clenched her hands into fists.

- They are dead so they will be afraid if I arrive too early "home". - Her smile was bittersweet and I knew she is trying to get herself together.

- I'm really sorry - my heart filled with sorry for the poor girl.

“- CALL her Mate she is our MATE!"

- Shut up at least now!”

- Don't worry, it’s an old story, it sucks but that is what I got. Now tell me why such a cute face is sad all the time in a boys’ night out? -She called me cute!

- Where should I start? - I just couldn't escape from her glance, I felt like I was swimming in an emerald ocean.

- Based on my experience every story makes sense only if you start at the beginning. - She made me laugh a little and I already felt better. Every second as I was looking at her I observed more and more details. - That sounds like a piece of good advice. - She looked on her watch for a second and got terrified.

-What’s wrong?

- Nothing just we were talking here for 2 hours and the club is closing soon -she grinned and headed to the door. We went in and heard the song. The Wanted -Glad you came.

- Before you leave, would you give me this dance? - she smiled and her smile melted my heart.

- It would be my pleasure.

 So we went to the dance floor and started to dance. I felt Matthew and Eric's glaring at us but I didn't care, now it was just she and me. When the song finished, the Dj announced the last song.

" For tonight's last song it will be a request from these two guys next to me and they send it to their friend!" - I stared at Eric and asked him by mind-link.

- What are you two planning?

 - Nothing! -He grinned so I knew they were up to something. When the music started I looked at the little mermaid and she was dancing all her own in the sea of people so  I went to her and danced with her.

- Wow ehm that was an intense dance - she said being blushing but I felt that she loved our kiss.

- Sorry,  I was just caught in the moment - I was still holding her and people slowly started to go.

- No problem at all, actually I'm just sorry that the night is over.

- I think is time to go. - She got out from my embrace but I pulled her back or better said my wolf did. We shared another passionate kiss but this time it was full of desire and peace at the same time.

- What is your name? - I just noticed that I don't even know her name. She got red and laughed.

- Ariel Cenke, I totally forgot to introduce myself, sorry just it felt like we knew each other since forever. I know it sounds cheesy. - And she couldn't stop giggling. It was contagious because I started to giggle as well.

- Yeah it was a similar feeling for me too. I'm Ryder Shadow by the way.
