Love is in the air

Hey, where did you disappear? - Matthew asked Ryder, while he was drinking his beer.

- I was chatting with the bartender girl. - We turned in the bar's direction and I whistled.

- She is hot!

- What’s wrong Ryder? - I just noticed that he was growling at me, we were looking being surprised at him.

- Nothing. – He snarled.

- So it is not a problem if I ask for her phone number - I said, and the air could've been cut with a knife between us because of the tension. I loved getting on his nerves and he was hiding something from us. But he managed to stay calm. " s**t maybe next time!" -my wolf said- Yeah bro but something is not okay here.

- Go I don't care. - That moment Ryder got his hand to his head and almost fainted. We grabbed him preventing him from falling on the floor.

- Hey Ryder are you okay? Even we could hear your wolf! What’s wrong with him? - Matthew asked very nervously.

- He thinks that the bartender girl is my mate. -We looked at each other with Matt.

- But I want to reject her, she is a human.

- Are you a complete i***t Ryder?! - I asked and both my wolf and I let him fall.

- No but she can't be a Luna! And I don't want her as my mate.

- Listen at least give her a chance. For your wolf's shake... He will torture you all your life if you reject his mate without a real reason.

- Okay! I give her a chance just stop torturing me! -he seemed really hurt by his wolf. This was the last time we saw him, when he appeared next he was with the little bartender girl. It was only 15 minutes before closing and they were dancing to the song  “The Wanted - Glad you came “

- Look at them. Our soon-to-be Luna is a really cute girl. - Matthew said as we were looking at them from a little further.

- And she is sexy as well, this i***t wants to reject her just because she is a human– I growled.

- Don't forget about Scarlet - Scarlet bleh. By only hearing her name I got nausea.

- His wolf was so loud that we heard it. He almost bit my head off because I was staring at her and he still goes against his own feelings. We should somehow show him how special this girl is. - Matthew was thinking a little then said.

- Hold my beer-and he walked away so qI went after him.

- What are you planning to do?

- Just watch and learn! - He whispered something to the DJ. When the song was over I saw that Ryder was still holding the blue-haired cutie. That was the moment when Matthew's plan started.

" For tonight's last song it will be a request from these two guys next to and they send it to their friend!" Ryder stared at us and asked me by mind-link.

- What are you two planning?

 - Nothing! - I grinned and he stared at us suspiciously. The song was Light up the world. While we were talking by mind-link with Ryder, Matthew poked my shoulder to show me the bartender girl dancing all alone. Ryder noticed her as well and started to dance with her again sending very angry glances to all men who were dancing a little close to her. As the song moved on they got closer and closer. We were watching this scene like a movie in the cinema.

And that's what I'm gonna do” - Ryder grimace at us while we were dancing and smiling from ear to ear.

- The plan is working; all my appreciation is yours master - I told to Matt.

- Thank you young Padavan! - the music kept on and arrived to the part when I understood why Matt chose this song, Ryder noticed as well and he mind-linked us.

 -" Ha ha ha nice one! – We usually bite our mate’s neck when we find them.  This song was a little direct indirect to Ryder for stopping resisting.

Hey you and me turn it up ten thousand watts” - They were dancing close to each other and sometimes she even teased him a little with her dance moves.

Throw your doubt away” - at this moment I hit Matthew who was flirting with a girl.

- Hey!

- Look, dude! - we both stared with our mouths opened. He was holding her in his arms and she was fully enjoying the moment and started to sing along.

You gotta give up the bark and bite.” - When the song arrived to the last "Give up the bark and bite" Ryder finally kissed her. She didn't pull back!

 - Look Matt she is into our Little Alpha!

- That is what mates do - Matthew was very satisfied with his work.

The music slowly ended and we started to approach them. Ryder seemed to pay all his attention to the girl. Matthew tried to call their attention.

- Hey em, we have to go the place is closing –he said.

- I think your friend is right! It’s very late and I live half-hour from here. I must go - she said, her voice sounding like a siren's voice. Ryder shared a very angry look at us for breaking his moment.

- Do you need us to accompany you home? - I asked and Ryder got even more pissed off. - By the way, my name is Eric and he is Matthew since this moron didn’t introduce us.

- It looks like today I left my manners at home - she chuckled, such a cute creature. Ryder is an i***t.

 - I'm Ariel nice to meet you. - We shook hands, Ryder's eyes were black and he was furious. Matthew noticed that Ariel was staring at Ryder's behavior and stepped in front of him to block her view while he could calm down a little.

- So do you need someone to take you home? - Matthew asked while Ryder mind-linked me.

"- What do you think you are doing?!

- Why? You said you want to reject her. She seems fine to me, so why not take a chance on her!?

- I prohibit you to try to flirt with her!!!

- And why are you doing this?” - I was right he liked her she was his mate. Ryder didn't answer my question. He paid his attention back to Ariel again.

- You are very kind but I will be fine. Thanks for this night it was very interesting - she gave a peck on Ryder's cheek, waved us, and left the place. Ryder was blushing and took a step after her but stopped when he noticed we were laughing.

- What is so funny?! - he asked in his Alpha voice but we just couldn't take it seriously.

- You! - We left the place and headed back to the hotel when Ryder's nose got up to the air and he turned around quickly and started to run. He shifted into a wolf and just ran. We did the same and ran after him.

-Ryder what’s wrong? - Matt asked, but we both felt that something was very wrong. Ryder was nowhere. It was just his wolf, the only thing he said.

-  Mate in danger! - He speeded up and so did we. Ryder was too fast and he arrived before us. When we got there he was looking at Ariel's eyes still in wolf form and sniffing her. Checking her if she had any injuries. He glanced at us and commanded by mind-link.

“- Matt, Eric. Get that drunk bastard who attacked her and kill him. 

- Yes Alpha!” - We caught him and did what  Ryder wanted. About an hour later we were back at our hotel room but Ryder wanted to be alone again and made us promise not to tell anything about this night to his parents if they ask. We promised, when he left us alone I turned to Matt.

- So now? We don't know where she lives or her number and we can't be going every night to the STORY looking for her because Ryder will get mad - Matthew was thinking again.

- Let’s see what we know. Ariel is definitely Ryder's mate. Nevertheless, he wants to reject her or at least wanted before their kiss. The only thing we can do is manage this two to get closer in these 3 weeks and wait to see if  Ryder changes his mind.

- You mean to wait for him for " give up the bark and bite?" - We started to laugh very hard and when we were able to breathe again we went to bed. It was, without doubt, the most interesting day in a while and something made me feel that there will be much more.
