Ashlyn I wasn’t feeling any better the following day, but I had some plans. Grace and I spent most of the morning at the mall. I even found Brad, the newest gaming console. He has been looking to buy one for the last few months, but it has always been sold out. When my car was ready, the back of my aunt’s SUV was full of bags. We stopped for a quick lunch before heading to the dealership. Once I had my keys, I moved my bags into the trunk. Grace and I said goodbye, and she headed back to the pack while I drove to the hotel. I will drive to Alpha King's Silver Moon pack tomorrow to check out the college and stay a bit before deciding. I didn’t know the future but knew I couldn’t stay this close to Ian. I lay in bed in this massive hotel suite and looked up at the ceiling. "I'm sorry, Tundra. I know this wasn't the plan." She whimpered, "It's better than nothing. It hurts more knowing that Jax couldn't stop his human. He told me so before we left the territory. He loves us, Ashlyn, but I understand that you can't forgive him." Tears streamed down my cheeks as I held back my sobs. She wasn't trying to make me feel bad, but my heart twisted painfully. I closed my eyes and whispered to the universe, "Ian, why did you break us?"
