Ashlyn Running out the back door of the pack house, I ran through the snow-covered forest as fast as I could, trying to outrun my guilt. How could I let that kiss happen? Why did I think Ian and I could return to being friends? Mason must have felt that through our bond. Tears ran down my cheeks, and I pushed myself to run faster. I ran until I hit the clearing with a waterfall. This is the spot where I’d come with Ian. The water falls into a hot spring pool and overflows into a creek.
