Alfred and Evelyn still looked at me in shock.
I'm sure they weren't expecting that.
They had come here to see Luan and not me.
Yet, here I am.
"I thought only my father---I mean Dimitri was the only one who knew" I said confused now.
They snapped back to reality.
"He was the first to know, my lady, yes. But Dimitri could only do so much. At some point, the King had told us about your mother and her pregnancy. We never met her once in person but we knew about her and you" Evelyn explained.
It's true.
I doubt the two men could do it all by themselves.
Alfred and Evelyn were on the sidelines too but my mother probably didn't know it.
"We thought you....didn't survive, my lady. After that night, your parents nor Dimitri never came back" Alfred said sadly.
