The palace beautiful ornaments and well lit environment was sure to be the talk of town as soon as the banquet was over that evening. The Queen smiled as she watched the butlers and maids assist the electrician to climb up a ladder in order to fix the glowing bulbs. The whole palace was very busy, rusty and noisy. One thing the Queen loved so much. It often reminded her of a new occasion every season.
"Why do we need to do this again mum?" Gina asked her mum taking a bite of her chocolate bar.
"Because the King is coming today" She responded with a wide smile. Gina eyes widened in shock. Her chewing immediately stopped. It was almost like she got struck by an invincible lightning. "It is shocking right?"
"Mum, you didn't tell anyone about this. I was suppose to prepare his favorite salad"
"I wanted it to be a surprise. Now that it's in your lips, let it stay between us till he arrives" She warned. The young girl hesitated.
"Olivia will burst into happiness hearing this. We cannot keep it from her mum even if we have to keep it from everyone else. I am going to tell her this instance" She turned to leave but the queen firm grip stopped her.
"Why does your ears never work? I have a surprise for her too. Telling her will ruin everything"
The young girl rolled her eyes for a few seconds and proceeded to join the other young princesses who had come to visit. Her mum watched her closely reminiscing how stubborn the young girl could be. She realized a mistake she made by telling her to keep this secret in the first place.
"This young lady never listens' She thought to herself.

"I am sure he will be awed my lady" Bianca, Princess Olivia's personal maid praised as the young lady stared at her royal gown in the mirror. "But why do you choose to wear something so simple my lady? It's a banquet"
"Who said I will be staying long in the banquet? It's been a week since George left. He will be coming home today and basically we both had a discussion"
"Alright My Lady. But if I may suggest, a discussion doesn't prevent you from wearing the robe your mum gifted you"
"You will not understand Bianca. It's been forever and I choose to give myself up to him today. Do you know how cool it will be?"
"Oooo..." The young lady exclaimed. "I see"
"But I am a little nervous. I always throw up around him. I feel I am very self conscious with him"
"This is basically normal for everyone. I felt the same way with my husband at first"
"This is pissing me off. I can't let tonight go to waste like this. What do I do? Please tell me Bianca" She asked pleadingly widening her eyes trying to make a puppy face.
"O my Goodness girl. You always try to get into my head don't you?"
"Please Bianca"
"I don't know about this palace rules but if I am to suggest one thing that can help, I will recommend you get drunk. That way, you aren't self conscious anymore and you feel more open"
"I never really thought of that." Olivia said quietly to herself. "The Queen would never let me drink unless she permits. It's the banquet, we should be able to access drinks.
"She will not allow you my Princess. Let us forget I suggested this" Olivia sulked. She stared at Bianca reflection in the mirror as the lady helped her with her earrings. Suddenly her eyes opened wide as she got struck with an idea.
"Bianca you can help me" She said in smiles. At first Bianca gave her a confused look. She thought for a while on what she could mean and shaked her head in disapproval.
"No, no, no My Lady. I won't do that. There is no way I am sneaking into the store for you. My husband will be dealt with"
"Calm down Bianca. Who said you will be sneaking into the store? You won't. All you will help me do is help me sneak into the store"
"O my goodness! My Lady that is far worse. What have the world brought before me?"
"Don't worry Bianca. No one will know. And by the way, I do sneak around as a young child so it isn't new to me"
"Are you sure you want to do this My Lady?"
"I am ready to take risk" She smirked. "Come on, get my cloak ready. We will be leaving by this evening when no one is watching".
Bianca bowed in approval but Olivia could see her hands shaking terribly. She patted her slowly and pulled her for a warm hug.
"I promise to get my tongue cut than see you hurt"

The banquet started with a big boom. The banquet room was flooded with guest from various Kingdoms and regions. Clicking of glasses could be heard from every corner of the banquet table. Prince George and Princess Olivia stole glances at each other as they tried distracting themselves from the boring talks. Olivia really wanted to complete her mirror really quickly but it would be considered disrespectful to leave before the dinner was done. The queen raised her glass.
"I want everyone's attention here please" She requested. The entire table began as quiet as a graveyard. "Tonight there will be a surprise. I will really love it if everyone stays till the end of this memorizing occasion" The guests began to murmur among themselves.
"You could give us a hint on what the surprise could be my queen" Lady of Perincle suggested raising her poorly drawn eyebrows.
"That will ruin it. Let's just say this night will be dazzling" The queen concluded before taking a sip of her wine.
Olivia tried exchanges gazes with her sister for a hint but her sister gave her a thumbs down and ignored her just immediately. 'What sort of sister do i have?' She thought to herself. After about 16 minutes if taking and laughing, the queen announced everyone was to leave for the ball room for a dance. Olivia tool advantage of this and hurried off to join Bianca who was inspecting the baker. Bianca excused herself and helped her down the servant quarters toward the store with the cloak wrapped around her. As they walked closer to the store, some voices of guards were heard. Olivia being so sharp pulled Bianca and herself into a dark corner hoping they won't the seen. The guards walked by minding their own business as they discussed on the Kingdom's only club. Olivia scoffed.
"That's all they talk about. Women. Come on, let us go" She said as soon as they were out of sight. Just as quiet as the night, they made their footsteps same. They tried breathing slowly and walking as quiet as possible even though the wooden floor was a beast. Bianca was trembling all over. She kept looking back trying to ensure they were not followed. Her eyes were shaking really hard as she tried unlocking the store door with one of the keys on the key bunch.
"I will help with that" Olivia suggested collecting the bunch from her. She opened the door as quietly as she could. The amount of dust in the old store room was enough to build a sand house. "Why is this place never cleaned?" She wondered waving the dust off her nose.
"No one barely comes here unless there are equipments to be restocked My Lady" Bianca responded promptly. Olivia had let out a sneeze, then another. "My Princess, I think you are allergic to the dust"
"I am fine. Just leave here. I will handle the rest myself"
"I could help you look for the wine. It's hidden somewhere" Bianca requested with a worried look.
"Fine" Olivia answered. She felt a tickle in her nose causing her to let out a sneeze, then another and another. Her head was beginning to hurt. Bianca got hold of the wine bottle, and helped her promptly out of the store shutting the door behind them.
"You will fall sick My Lady" she said as she inspected her eyes.
"It will be worth it though" She responded collecting the wine from her. "I will try to leave for the library, get George there."
"My lady you will be at risk if you are caught with the wine"
"What more can my mum do other than take the wine from me and lock me up in my room throughout the room. I cannot risk having your life ended because of me"
"Are you sure you will be okay by yourself?"
"I am 20. I am not a child. Get going" She insisted. Bianca bowed and trod off . Taking a deep breath, Olivia hurried up toward the direction of the library smiling broadly to herself.

Dave separated himself from the rest of the pack and raced toward the entrance of the forest. He wasn't really ready for his mission yet but he'd know how precious time was to him. He could scent his mate very close but he wasn't sure where. She was needed to be brought on time before the beginning of the Parl which was next week. The Alpha wasn't into this nor was he interested in any form of romantic sham but his parents had insisted on this. They threatened and punished him so many times due to his refusal to be entitled to any form of power or authority. He only wanted his space and time to himself and no one else. He wanted to be alone doing his own thing. The other wolves considered him selfish.
"You will be a shame if you don't get your mate and continue the family's legacy" His father had growled at him one time.
"What if I am not interested in getting power or having a mate? What if I want to have my own army and start my own territory?" He asked my own frustration.
"Then you are no fit to be called an Alpha. Even if you want to start your own territory, it is very important you have your mate by your side guide you through your quest"
"Stop it both of you!" His mum intruded furiously. "I have heard enough from both of you. Dave, you can't have things done your way all the time. I understand you are not the most romantic creature out there but things will occur naturally when you meet her"
"You all make it seem like being an Alpha always has something to do with a second half. Why do I need a mate to start up my own territory?"
"First, there is no territory for you. This is your territory. And second, you have no choice but to accept your fate as an Alpha. You cannot resist the urge of seeing your mate" His dad corrected him.
Dave snuck his way past the village following the scent as it led him toward the palace. Arriving to the front of the palace, he transformed into his human self. A tall muscular guy with long silky hair and deep blue eyes. His skin looked pale under the moonlight. His leather suit looked very off for the party going on in the palace. He knew he had to blend in somehow. Watching guest go in and out of the palace, he caught sight of a servant carrying a box full of clothing. He wasn't sure whose clothing they were but he cared not. As soon as she turned her gaze away from the clothing toward the palace, he snuck toward the cart and grabbed hold of the box before racing into the woods. Now dressed on his golden royal suit, he proceeded into the palace hoping no one questions him. Luckily no one actually did. He followed his scent down the hallway, past the orchard and toward the library. Without bothering to knock or check if the door was open, he pushed the door down with his feet forcing his way in. His eyes widened in shock as soon as he caught sight of a beautiful maiden in a white royal gown dancing around with a bottle of alcohol on her hands, calling birds, unicorns and other form of creatures. Her deep blue eyes turned golden and his kind went blank. The lady was really clumsy. She kept knocking down the books on the bookshelves, apologizing to them and putting them back in the worst position ever only to knock them down again. All this seemed not to baffle him at all. He got immersed by the movement of her long silky hair and her beautiful voice. Her skin had radiated in the sim light. He could barely move his legs nor was he sure of what to do. He felt his heart race really fast and his palm grow sweaty. He did expect to feel something when he sees his mate but not something as strong as this thing. He had never felt something this powerful before. He was unaware of what to do at that moment other than to just stand and watch his drunken mate make a fool of herself.

Olivia didn't notice the library door burst open. She was so immersed in her world of imaginary birds and unicorns. As she turned round walking in a clumsy manner singing a gibberish song and making stupid noises, she's push down the books again the fifth time. This caused her to burst into laughter.
"Sorry birds. You didn't have to fall because of me" She apologized bending low to pick them up. As she did this, she noticed a figured at the door through the corner of her eyes and turned to look. The man she had seen gave her a big fright at first. A young man had stood at the door all this while staring at her as if he was lost in thought. She got amused by the color of his eyes and smiled.
"Golden eyes, you didn't have to just stand there and stare at me like a lunatic. What's wrong? Are you lost?" She asked making a pity face. She got no response. Rolling her eyes, she got more curious and proceeded towards him. "Look, you don't have to stand there looking at me like a fool. Your eyes look amazing. Don't blind them by too much stare. They are very unique and rare" She touched his cheeks lightly and ran her fingers down his hair. "You have such remarkable features. Everything about you looks so dreamily. Are you even a real person? Are you a figment of my imagination? Are you the man I have always dreamed of seeing all this years? Are you my imaginary friend? O! Hold on, Are you George?" She held out his arm and began to admire the smoothness of his skin. "You definitely are an animation character"
"You must come with me" He said still immersed in the beauty of her eyes.
"To where...." Before her sentence could be completed, she found herself swept off the floor into his strong arms. "Gosh! You are so romantic. You surely must be George twin brother. Quiet the opposite of him in everything"
He said nothing. He made his way out of the library toward the back entrance of the palace. Luckily the guards weren't anywhere to be seen so it was quiet easy to escape.
"You haven't told me your name sir?" She asked as they hurried into the woods.
No response.
"I know you are in my mind. You have to be friendly with me because I created you. I can control you!"
"No one controls me!" He yelled angrily at her throwing her roughly unto the sand causing her to scratch her arm hard against the sandy ground.
"You wounded me" she complained staring at her bruised arm. "You don't have to be so cold towards me"
He stared at her for a while and then at her bruised arm.
"It's a mild wound. It will heal soon. You are not a weakling"
"Excuse me?" She asked in shock.
"You are my mate and you do what you are asked to do. No questioning, no talking, no stupid drunken words!" He warned with a growling angry sound. Olivia got quiet. She observed his look and smiled.
"You are full of anger aren't you? Let it go. Should I help you?" She asked standing up from the floor. He gave no response. She drew him closer towards her and smacked her lips. He got really confused. "Don't worry, I will throw up any minutes from now so it's no big deal. That's the joke I want to make out of it. I hope you proceed to laugh after you see how much I suck in being a romantic person. It never goes beyond kissing for few seconds" Putting his arms around her waist, she wrapped her arm around his neck and drew her lips closer to his. Their lips touched and she'd give him a light kiss hoping it ends there but she'd feel a kind of feeling she'd never felt before with George. Everything just seemed different with this stranger. She wasn't tempted to pull away or throw up any more. Everything just seemed natural. Dave got carried away by this and slowly deepening the kiss himself pulling her more closer and the whole intense feeling he got to the next level. They passed out under the moonlight late that night in each other's arms not even realizing what they have done and a mistake they had made.

Bianca got relieved as she was finally able to get the time alike with George. She bowed immediately.
"What's it?" He asked.
"It's Princess Olivia. She wants to meet you in the library"
"Princess Olivia? I haven't seen that damsel the entire night. I should go and join her now" He answered with a smile. "Thanks Bianca" Bianca bowed one more time and left relieved her job was done.

George got very shocked seeing the mess that had been caused in the library. Confused and concerned, he went straight to her room hoping to see her safe and sound. To his fear, nothing. There was just no life in there. He hurried to the banquet floor immediately in order to inform the queen on her disappearance. But there was no way he could so that because as he proceeded to alert her, she began her big announcement.
"So as for the surprise I promised you all..." The queen began. "We all know my husband has been off to the war for 2 years, luckily we have him back with us today safe and healthy" Everyone applauded in delight as the King walked in from his chambers smiling and waving at everyone. The Queen smiled sighting the happy expression on her subjects and bowed low before her husband. He patted her and made a toast to her. After all this, the queen proceeded to her second surprise.
"As for the second surprise, it's somewhat related to the first one. Since the King is here,I see no need to postpone the wedding anymore. All the arrangements have been made concerning the marriage between Princess Olivia and Prince George. The idea of them getting married this weekend has been concluded" George was so shocked by this news. "By the way I haven't seen Olivia tonight?"
"My queen?" George whispered to her.
"Not now George. I am busy" She halted him.
"It's important. Olivia is missing" He informed her anyways.
"What?!" She exclaimed in shock. "How?"
"I don't know. She isn't in the library or in her room. The library door was broken down and I think I found a bottle of alcohol in there as well"
"Why the hell are you just informing me this now?" she asked in anger. She hurried with him toward the library and got shocked at the sight. Summoning the guards, she ordered her daughter be searched for immediately.
"What the heck is this nonsense? Who will dare kidnap my daughter? Who will she suddenly go missing and who the heck even gave her alcohol?!" She yelled at all the servants and everyone of her staffs. They all got surprised at the need. Bianca got very nervous and could clearly smell trouble. "What was actually happening?"
