“Yes.” Logan’s voice came out a little strained from the back seat. “I already told you. I’m on my way.” Kade listened intently to Logan’s side of the conversation as he navigated the SUV through the midday traffic, right in the heart of the city. It was the very same vehicle Kade had used two days ago to take Aleah back home, and he could have sworn her scent still lingered in the car like a ghost refusing to go away. And just like a spirit hell-bent on tormenting the living, she hadn’t left his thoughts. Not even when he slept or showered, the latter turning most of his showers into cold ones. To say that Kade wasn’t enjoying the situation was an understatement. It was driving Kade insane, and he had a migraine that was pulsing mercilessly. Which meant he wasn’t in any mood for Logan’
