Dinner

Once we get to the restaurant, my jaw drops.  This place is beautiful.  Jared gets out and runs over to my side.  "Do you want to walk or have me carry you?" he whispers into my ear.

"I will walk, stay close."  He grins and takes my hand helping me out of the car and onto my feet.  He offers his arm and I take it.  He leads me into the restaurant.  

"Alpha, Beta" the host greets us opening the door.  "We are so pleased you have chosen our restaurant to eat at.  The owner instructed to advise you to Please have anything you would like, it is on the house." He leads us to a table and Jared pulls out my chair before the host has the chance.

"Thank You,"  I say sitting down.  Everyone is staring at us like we are on display.  A waiter quickly comes over to take our drink orders.  Jared orders a nice bottle of wine and water for each of us.  "I wish they would stop staring,"  I tell Jared.

He puts his hand out and helps me to my feet.  "I was not sure if you would rather be around people or in private.  I booked the private dining room as well, let's eat there."  he leads me a few more steps and we are alone in a room with a private table set for two with the lights dimmed and candles burning.  "This is beautiful, Thank God we don't have people watching us," I tell him laughing.  The waiter brings our drinks to the table and wants to take our order.  "Please bring whatever the chef recommends,"  I tell him.

"Make that two,"  Jared tells him.  The waiter nods and leaves.  A few minutes later the chef brings out two dinners.  

"Alpha, Beta, Thank you for coming tonight.  I hope you enjoy the dishes.  I know you prefer steak and you prefer seafood so I brought you two of my favorite specials."  His grin is genuine.  "If you do not like them, I will bring something else."

"They look perfect, thank you so much Chef."  He bows and leaves the room.  Jared tries my dish and I also try his.  The food is amazing.  I can not eat much of mine because I have not had this much food in a very long time  Jared eats a little more of mine when I ask him to.  I don't want to insult the chef.  Once we are finished Jared leave money on the table.  I grin at him.  He has no intention of taking anything without paying.  The tip was also huge.  "What?"  he asks.  

"I just love that you are still the same."  

He laughs, "I can't take things that I have not earned."

"I know" I say watching him.

He helps me to my feet and guides me back through the restaurant.  When we are almost to the door someone says "Alpha" and I turn around.  The entire restaurant is on their knees bowing their heads.  "We are all very happy that you found your way back to us."  the same voice says.  

"Thank you, you don't have to kneel."  I get a lot of surprised faces.  "I am very happy to be here with you all.  I am afraid I had a long day and we are just heading back to the packhouse.  I hope you all enjoy your dinner.  The chef makes amazing food."

"Thank you Alpha," the chef says as I leave.  I smile at him.  Jared guides me back to the car helping me inside and buckling my seat belt.  

When we get back to the house he says "Let's go for a run?"

"I can barely walk"

"I meant our wolves," he says laughing.  

I look down

"What's wrong?  Did she leave because of the attack?  Is she not healed?"

"Jared, I have never shifted,"  I whisper

"How is that possible?"

"I don't know, Even if she finally comes forth, I won't be able to shift pregnant"

"Oh, that's right," he says nodding.

"You don't have to carry me," I tell him laughing as he scoops me right back up.

"I want to."  He says giving me a cheeky smile.

"You spent every night in that chair didn't you?"

"yup"

"Why?"

"I'm in love with you, I have been for years."  He says looking into my eyes.  Then he places a kiss on my forehead.  He takes me up to my room and places me on the bed.  He walks over to my closet and grabs some sleep shorts and a muscle shirt.  Coming back over to me he drops to his knees and very slowly removes the heels.  He is caressing my legs as he does so.  "Thanks for wearing that dress and heels.  I kept imagining you in them.  Perfect"  He says grinning.  He starts massaging my leg muscles.  

"That feels amazing,"  I tell him closing my eyes moaning.

"Hold on,"  he says and starts putting on my shorts, then places the shirt over my head and guides my arms in, then goes behind me to unzip my dress.  He slides the dress down me and off but I am covered by the clothing he selected.  Then he unhooks the strapless bra and I throw it to the floor.  He continues rubbing out my aching muscles.  First, my feet and legs than on to my arms and back.  Soon I fall asleep.

Jared POV

Thank god she finally woke up.  I never wanted to be Beta but if it means I can stay with Elizabeth I will do anything.  She wore that hot outfit to dinner with me tonight without even arguing.  I wish I could see her in the lingerie I bought her,JU but maybe soon.  I don't understand why she has not shifted.  After working her muscles like I have been doing the last three months she fell asleep.  I tucked her in and kissed her forehead, then headed for my room.  

I went in and took a hot shower.  Usually, I am taking a cold one after I rub down her muscles but tonight all I can see is her in that hot black dress and killer heels.  I took her panties from the bathroom after she fell asleep.  They were the pair that I had put on her in the hospital this morning.  God, they smell amazing.  I just start stroking myself sniffing them and imagining she is jerking me off.  The way she licks her lips, I imagine the warm water is from in her mouth and soon I am c*mming all over the shower wall saying her name.  I need her.  She is the only thing I ever think about.  I love her.

I am just getting out of the shower putting on my boxers when I hear her screaming.  I run to her room thinking someone is hurting her and realize that she is having a nightmare.  She is fighting off her attackers.  She keeps saying please stop.  I scoop her up and put my arms around her sitting down on the bed with my back leaning against her headboard.  I just keep telling her "You are safe.  I won't let anything happen to you.  I love you."  She finally stops thrashing.  I ended up falling asleep with her in my arms.

The next morning she wakes up and I am still holding her.  "Umm Jared?"  She whispers.  "Yeah?"  "What happened?"  I open my eyes and she is looking at me wide-eyed.  

"I finished working your muscles and tucked you in.  When I got out of the shower you were screaming.  I ran in and you were having a nightmare.  I talked you through it, you were shaking, and then I must have fallen asleep."  Thank you she says leaning over me and giving me a kiss on the cheek.  That is when I realized I am only wearing boxers and she has me excited.  She looks down and turns red and shuffles off me.  "Sorry" she whispers heading for the bathroom.  Soon I hear the shower.  I go into her closet and grab her some clothes.  I love picking out her panties and bras.  Today she gets a thong.  I open the bathroom door and say "I left clothes on the bed, want me to get you a towel?"

"Yes please,"  she answers.  I place a towel on the hook by the shower and start to leave.  "Jared?"  "Yeah?" "Where is my mother?"

"She married the Alpha King a month ago."

"What the hell."  "Does she know that I am pregnant?"

"I did not let the doctors tell anyone.  No one knows but the doctor that I threatened, you and me.  I wanted you to decide what you wanted and how people found out."

"How did I get so lucky to have you in my life?"

"I will always be here for you and the baby.  I am going to go get ready.  Meet you across the hall."

We continued on like this for two weeks.  Every day we are in the weight room working out, we eat every meal together, and every night he ends up in my room when I have a nightmare.
