Alpha Elizabeth's Betrayl

Finally Awake

Three months have passed. 

Elizabeth hurts like crazy, she keeps trying to move and open her eyes.  She hears a lot of beeping and alarms sounding, she slowly opens her eyes. Once her eyes are open, they land on a sleeping Jared. He looks like sh*t.  She tries to speak but nothing comes out.  Elizabeth keeps looking around tries to sit up but falls back.  Jared opens his eyes and looks at Elizabeth's eyes.  He jumps up in shock and excitement.  "Thank God, you are awake."  Then he rushes to her and hugs her.  She feels his lips on her forehead.  

She points at the water.  He quickly grabs her some and lifts her up to drink it.  After he has helped her he asks "Did you get enough?"  she nods and he sets her back down.  "Would you like me to raise your head?"  she nods and he raises the head of the bed.  

"I was raped?"  she whispers looking at Jared.  This is the first time she has said anything since rejecting her mate.

"Yes," he says looking at the floor.  Tears fall down her face.  "I am so sorry."  He starts but she cuts him off.

"Thank you for finding me."

"I should have found you sooner."  he starts to tell her but she cuts him off again.

"It was my mate and two more.  I remember 3."  His eyes dart to her.  "How long have I been out?"

"You have been unconscious for three months.  Your broken arms, jaw, and ribs are healed.  You had bruises everywhere and black eyes.  You had emergency surgery as soon as you arrived and they were able to stop the internal bleeding, plus you had a collapsed lung.  You fought hard."  I say nothing, just processing his words.  He is studying my face.  "Elizabeth, you are pregnant."

"What?"  Is all I can manage.

"I have to tell you more.  We are at your Grandfathers pack.  Your mother called the Alpha King and a helicopter came and got you.  I wouldn't let them take you without me.  They brought us here.  Your Grandfather has named me the Beta and told me you will be the Alpha.  I let him know you are awake and he is headed here."

In walks a man that I have never met.  "Elizabeth,"  he says smiling.  I am so glad you are awake.   A nurse followed him in and begins removing all the things that I am attached to.  She smiles at me and leaves the room.

"Alpha Jack," Jared says 

"Grandfather, Thank You for helping me."  

"Elizabeth, your pack will always help you.  I am sorry for what happened but we are ready for you to take on your Alpha role.  Do you feel capable of starting today?"

"Grandfather, I can not even get out of this bed."

"Nonsense, come, girl, we have a lot to do."  He says scooping me out of the bed.  He begins to carry me out of the room until Jared stops him.  

"She needs clothes, let her go into the bathroom and change.  Elizabeth, I have a full set for you in there and it has a shower.  Take your time, if you need help I can get you a nurse."  Jared says.  He places me on the chair in the bathroom next to the shower and turns it on.  He then places another chair inside the shower.

"Thank you,"  I tell him.  

"Just let me know if you need me or someone, I will get them."  He kisses my cheek and exits the room.

I take a very long, very hot shower, sitting on the chair, I just don't seem to be able to stand.  When I turn the water off Jared asks at the door if I need any help.  "Jared, I do."  He comes into the room.  He hands me in a towel.  

"What would you like me to do?"  

"I have the towel around me, could you help me get to the other chair, please?"

He pushes back the curtain and scoops me up.  He places me on the chair.  He stares in my eyes for a minute and then releases me.  He turns around picking up the clothing and places on the table next to me.  He grabs another towel and starts to dry my hair.  Then he dries my legs.  He takes out the panties from the pile and puts my feet in them and pulls them up under the towel, taking my arms around his shoulders he slightly picks me up to place them on my hips.  He repeats this with the pants.  Next, he takes the bra and places my arms through the straps and steps behind me.  I fix the front and he secures the back.  Then he picks up the shirt and pulls over my head and holds out the sleeves as I push my arms through.  He drops down to his knees and puts socks on both feet and finally places sneakers onto my feet and ties them.  Most of the time he does this he has his eyes locked on mine.  I tried and say something when he started with my underwear but he had whispered, "Please let me do this."  Finally, he goes behind me and starts brushing out my hair.  I feel safe and content with him.  He takes me into his arms and brings me to the Alpha's office.

He sits us down on the sofa and I am sitting on his lap.  I put my head down on his shoulder and fall asleep.  When I awake, I am embarrassed.  Jared is hugging me into his chest telling me he will take care of me.  I hear Alpha Jack come into the room.  

"Elizabeth, glad you are awake.  The elders are breathing down my neck.  We will be having your Alpha ceremony tonight."

"Don't you think it will be a bad sign when I can not walk to the stage?  Please give me a few days."

"Of course, you are right.  Listen they want to see you.  I will have them come up here.  Jared, let her sit next to you.  I will have your lunch brought first.  They will not notice if you seem distracted if you are also eating.  I will have them in and out.  You must tell them you are accepting your destiny to be the next Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack.  Do you understand?  Your cousin Tom would be the default Alpha and he does not want the role.  His parents are pushing for it.  They have always been greedy and the pack would suffer.  Please do this for me."  I nod and he goes to get the food and elders.

A knock is heard and Jared tells them to enter.  An older woman enters the room setting down the tray she is carrying.  She places a small table in front of me and proceeds to place a tray and huge amount of food in front of me.  Another woman follows and places drinks for Jared, Grandfather and me.  The older woman looks deep into my eyes and says "You look just like your mother and kisses my cheek hugging me."  "Grandma?" "Yes, she nods and hugs me again.  Thank God you found your way back."  Just then another knock and the elders come into the room.  I smile and greet them as they enter.  I am not sure what I will be able to eat, I start nibbling on a small piece of cheese.  Then I see the yogurt.  Grandma is a smart lady.  I have not eaten in so long it would be hard to eat anything big.

I realize I have not been paying attention when Jared nudges me.  He mind-links me to say yes.

"Yes," I say looking at the elders.

"You are accepting the role of Alpha?"  He asks me again.

"I am accepting my birthright.  I was born to lead both packs."  He raises his eyebrow at me.  

"You intend on being Alpha to both packs?"  He questions.

"I intend on merging my packs into one.  I am the rightful Alpha to both packs."  Everyone looks shocked except Jared and he is just grinning at me.

"That's the Elizabeth I know,"  he says showing his approval.  

"I know that I can follow werewolf law and accept my birthright until I turn 21.  Since I am your Alpha, you will allow me my privacy and not speak of my business outside of this room until I give you permission to do so.  I will find out if you betray me because no one outside of this room knows of my intentions.  Today is the first time I have told anyone."  They nod, wide-eyed.  "I am afraid that if you were expecting a timid female to be sitting here taking orders,  you are in the wrong office."  Even my Grandfather seems shocked.  "We all know what was done to me, you will not be speaking about it.  I will only be referred to as Alpha, do not use my name.  If for some reason a name is required Alpha Eli is all you will give them."  That is an Alpha order.  They all nod.  "I will not be told when my ceremony is.  It will not be today.  I will be having my ceremony in two weeks if my mother can attend.  I will not have it until she can be present.  You can leave now."  They look back and forth shocked.  "I said to leave"  They stand up and look at each other.  The one that seemed to be in charge when this started finally smiles a genuine smile shakes my hand and says "Thank God you found your way back."  They all left.

Jared looks at me grinning, "Now what?"  He asks me.  

"I need you to find a private place that I can go and train.  I don't want people watching me until I get back what I lost."

"I have the perfect place already.  I knew you were going to want that."  He said with a cheeky grin.  He scooped me up and brought me down the hall.  I had a gym set up for us to use.  While you were out your Grandfather gave me a room on the Alpha floor, it is next to yours.  He said motioning to the doors.  Across the hall from the bedrooms is the gym.  

We spent the rest of the day working out.  Jared only left the room to get us snacks and drinks.  I still seem to have muscle tone.  Jared finally tells me he became my personal trainer while I was out.  Every day he worked out my legs and arms to keep them in shape.  How am I ever going to repay him?  By the time dinner came around I was walking.  

"I am so sore,"  I tell him and he grins.  

"Take a show Alpha, I am taking you out for dinner."

"I don't have any clothes."

"Oh, yes you do.  Your grandfather paid and I shopped."  He opens the door to a beautiful suite.  It is huge.  He takes me over to walk-in and opens the door.  He grabs some lingerie and a short black dress and stilettos he sets the dress and shoes on the bed and proceeds to the bathroom and places the lingerie on the counter.  He starts the shower and places a chair inside.  Grinning at me he places a towel on the hook and says "Alpha, would you like me to help you get in?" 

"Out,"  I tell him pointing at the door.  He laughs and kisses my cheek.

"Mind-link me if you need anything," he says wiggling his eyebrow.  Seriously, don't lock the door in case I have to come in."

"Ok"

I go in and take a shower.  The chair really was a good idea.  I can't stand very long.  All in due time I suppose.  Once I get out of the shower, I put on the lingerie that Jared picked out and it is see-thru.  I grab a dry towel placing it around me and head for the bed.  About halfway is a couch and I lay down on it.  I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the arm.  I wake up to Jared laughing.  

"Sorry," I tell him.  He laughs again bringing me the dress and heels.  He helps me get to my feet and then he gets down on his knees in his beautiful suit and takes my feet one at a time placing inside the dress, he puts the dress over both my legs and starts pulling it up my body under my towel.  He is looking into my eyes the entire time.  "Turn"  He whispers, as I do so he drops my towel and zips up the back.  He sits me back on the couch and takes his time putting on my heels and strapping them.  These are the true definition of hooker heels.  Then he goes into the bathroom and grabs a few things.  He comes back behind the couch and proceeds to fix my hair.  He shows me a mirror.  "Ok?"  He asks intently.  "Thank You, I love it."  He grins and his eyes even dance.  

"You look amazing."  He groans into my ear.

"I don't think I can walk in these.  I am not too sure on my feet today."  I tell him honestly.  He grins and scoops me up.  He then carries me down all the flights of stairs making me laugh the entire way.  When we get close to the door and Omega nods to us both and quickly opens the door.  "Thank You,"  I tell her "Of course Alpha," she says bowing a smile on her face.  "Please let me get the car door also."  She runs ahead and opens it and quickly leaves.  

Jared places me on the seat of a beautiful new Lamborgini.  "You got a new car?"  

"I have not gone back since that night.  We needed to have a car here."

"We?"

"Yeah, I put the title in both our names, tell me you like it.  I got your favorite car in your favorite color.  This way you have to take me with you."  He says grinning looking at me.  

I smile and blush.  "Thank You, I love it."  He starts the car and pulls out.

"Where are we going?"

"Surprise"

"Hint"

"Someplace fancy," he says gesturing to his clothes and my dress.

"Smartass"

"It is all yours for the taking." He says wiggling his eyebrow at me.

I blush again and look out the window.
