I spent the night lying in bed, unable to sleep, knowing Isabella was out of patrol. I was worried. Who knows when the rogues are going to come looking for her again.
I made sure that Erik and Jared mind-linked me regularly throughout their shift with updates.
The night seemed to have gone by without any incidents. I sighed in relief when I got the last mind-link from Jared telling me they were done patrol and Isabella was on her way back to her room.
I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to shower. Once I was done showering, I got dressed In some jeans and a blue v-neck t-shirt. I went down to my office and took a seat at my desk.
