Isabella POV
I woke up and looked over at my alarm clock, I saw that it was 1:00 pm but since I still felt groggy, I decided to stay in bed a little longer. As I tried to get comfortable, I heard a knock at the door and huffed in frustration. So much for me staying in bed.
“Come in,” I said.
The door opened, and Alpha Drake was standing there. At first, he was just watching me while I lay in bed, then he decided to ask me how my patrol shift went.
Come on Alpha, I thought to myself. I’m not stupid. I know his Beta and Gamma would have already reported back regarding the night patrol. He was clearly just looking for a reason to see me. I felt a little smug at the thought and I got a wild yet dangerous idea.
