Two hours later, once he’d turned in his laptop and everyone else had shuffled out of the classroom, Charlie sat quietly. He wasn’t exactly sure what the plan was. Were they meeting somewhere? Riding in one car? Dating wasn’t something he was very good at and he felt out of practice. As if Owen could read his thoughts, he spoke up. “Want to follow me over? Or ride with me?” “It’s probably easier if I take my own car.” “There’s a little diner around the corner. Kind of a hole in the wall, but they’re open twenty-four hours and they sell breakfast food all day.” Owen grinned. “I could eat bacon twenty-four/seven,” he admitted, his cheeks pinking.
