Chapter 5 Charlie “So, have you ever taken the GED test before?” Charlie glanced at Greg as the guy jogged over to him in the parking lot. It was easy to see the guy’s stress. “No. I’ve done a practice one, though. You?” Greg shook his head. “Just a small practice one I found online. And the one we did the first night here, but that wasn’t really a full practice. I’ve heard the real test is hard.” He groaned a little. “I hate this. I wish I hadn’t quit school.” Charlie could agree with that one. He found himself talking before he even thought about it. “I think we just look forward, man. Reliving our mistakes over and over isn’t going to help us pass this. Just look forward.” Greg gave him a small smile, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Good advice. Hard to do, but I get it. Let
