Chapter 7 ~ Operation

David pov

“Sir, would you like to eat your dinner? It's already quite late”, one maid came and asked me while l was working after coming home from the office.

David:“No, l am going to wait for Aryan. I will eat with him. You all can go and sleep”, l replied and continued working on my file.

I looked towards my watch and saw it was already 11 pm. I signed heavily, he is never going to change. He is so a workaholic. No, matter how many times l tried to tell him to take care of him. He never listens to me.

When it comes to him, he never follows any rules. But if it's for me then l have to listen to him. He makes sure that l am always under his protection.

After our parents were killed by his parent's enemy, he became a ruthless mafia king. He never lets me feel like I am alone in this world.

I signed and continued working on my file. I don't know when he is going to come. As l am working on my laptop suddenly my watch emergency button is rigging.

I quickly took my phone and started running outside of the house. I know Aryan needs me. He put this on an emergency purpose. I quickly call all his men and jump in the driver's seat.

I quickly sent them his address and drove towards the location. It's 25 minutes away from our house.

David:“Please, be safe. I can't lose you like everyone”, l whisper while driving at full speed.

Soon Aryan gang members Started following me from behind. I signed in relief seeing them as l don't know what is the situation there. Ten cars follow me and there are also twenty l don't know how many bikes follow my car. My mind is all about Aryan and his safety. I signal them to speed up.

When I reached the spot, it already looked like a Grave place. Cars are burning, and people groaning from everywhere. There is still going to be firing.

David:“Aryan”,l yelled his name and tried to move In Front of me.

It's too dark, someone is on the light. Everywhere blood where l put my feet, my hand is shaking. My breathing became heavy. My heart is beating abnormally thinking about what happened to Aryan and what condition he is in now.

Jake:“David sir, we are here”, he yelled from somewhere. I followed his voice and others were covering me while shooting in one direction where firing kept coming.

I passed by many dead bodies, my whole body became cold seeing the scene. Aryan is lying, pulling his blood, his eyes closed. Jake is trying to pull him up, but he is also badly injured.

Jake:“David sir, we need to take him to the hospital as soon as possible. Otherwise it will be quite late for everything. We will lose our boss”, he said while yelling and groaning from pain.

I quickly regained my senses and ran towards Aryan. I quickly carried him and started running towards my car. Jake also follows me from behind.

David:“Boys, You know what to do right. I am taking him to the hospital. I want everything handled properly. And make sure who is still alive, gets the best treatment”, l said yelling while walking towards my car.

“Yes, boss”,they yelled from behind and kept firing.

David:“Just don't leave me”, l said while looking towards Aryan's pale face. He lost so much blood.

Jake opens the door of the back seat, l quickly puts Aryan in the back seat and signals Jake to sit beside him. He quickly sat in the back seat and l jumped in the driving seat and started driving speedily towards the hospital.

I looked from the rear mirror and tears slipped out of my eyes. I can't afford to lose him. He is the only person left in this world. God can't this cruel stanch him from me? God already stanched everything from me but not Aryan.

I reached in front of the hospital, which is one the best hospitals in Moscow city. I quickly got out of the car and picked him up. I quickly ran inside of the hospital.

David:“Doctor, nurse help me”, l yelled loudly while carrying him.

My yelling caught the attention of the doctors and nurses. They quickly run towards my direction with worried-filled eyes.

One doctor checked his pulse and he looked at me with wide open eyes. I hold my breath from thinking something worse happened.

“We need to operate on him soon. Otherwise, we will lose him. Quickly inform Dr. Adriana, that we need her help. Only she is the hope”, he said and l saw an open nurse run one direction.

“Please, lay him down”, he said to me. I nodded and quickly put him on the bed. My entire body was soaked with his blood. I can't stop my hand from shaking.

“Please, sir. You can go out now. We need to operate on him and pull all the bullets out from his body”, he said to me and started fixing an oxygen mask on the Aryan mouth.

David:“Doctor, nothing should happen to him. I don't know how you are going to do it. But l want him alive and safe and sound. Otherwise don't think about seeing daylight again”, l warned him and left the room.

I saw him shaking a little after hearing my cold voice. My eyes become red from crying. I go outside of the room and lean toward the wall.

I closed my eyes and opened a few seconds later. I took a deep breath and looked towards Luke who was sitting while groaning a little from pain.

David:“Luke, go take treatment. You need it”, l said while looking at him.

Luke:“No, David sir. I am not leaving for my treatment until my boss comes out of danger”, he replied stubbornly and groaned. Blood started coming from his wound.

David:“Look Luke, l appreciate it so much. But you also injured so much. Aryan was never going to like it once he heard you don't go for your treatment for him. He will be angry at you and more than in me. As you know in Aryan's absence l am the boss. So, l am ordering you now to go and take treatment then you can come and wait for him”,l told strictly.

Luke:“Okay, David sir. I am coming soon”, he said while signing and left from there to take his treatment.

I signed and sat on the chair. I saw one female doctor running towards the operating room before l could say something. She closed the room once she got inside.

I sighed heavily and closed my eyes. I have started praying for the safety of Aryan. I don't know why fate is always cruel to us.

I am loving every bit of patience, l don't know when it's going to stop. That is the reason, l am always worried for him. But he never listens to me. Although l told him many times to leave this dangerous work and his revenge. But he always gets angry with me if l say something about this matter. So, l Stop talking about this matter and try to be positive.

Only this is the matter, he never listens to my one word. Why he doesn't understand that l can't lose him like my parents? I afford to lose him like them.

Every hour passes and it feels like years to me. Luke already comes after treating his wound. He refused to take any rest and stubbornly sat with me.

Even now the operation room doesn't open, Aryan is still inside. I don't know what's happening inside and what the condition of Aryan is. With every passing minute, my worry is increasing.

I prayed to the god that everything was fine inside and prayed for the safety of Aryan.

Suddenly the operation room's red light turned off and soon the door opened. I quickly stood up and saw that female doctor. I think they are calling Dr. Adriana or something. I worriedly looked at her waiting to say something.

“Are you a patient relative?”, she asked me while looking at me.

David:“Yes, l am. How is his condition?”, l asked him nervously. I am scared about knowing about him. My heart is breathing and l am breathing heavily a little.

Adriana:“I am Doctor Adriana and don't worry he is out of danger. Please kindly wait for Dr. Ray, he is going to tell you details regarding the patient's condition. Now l have to attend to my other patients. Please excuse me”,she said and started walking away.

David:“Dr. Adriana”, l called her. She stopped walking but didn't look at me.

David:“Thank you so much for saving my brother”, l said to her.

Adriana:“Don't need formality. It's my duty to save the patient”, she replied coldly and left from there.

She is really cold. I never saw a doctor like her before. Anyway, it's not my concern, my parity is now Aryan.

Jake:“Thank God, he is safe”, he mumbled and gave me a small smile .

I nodded at him and waited for another doctor to come out and tell me the condition of Aryan health.
