Charles stared at her. She looks serious. I hope you meant that with all your heart, he whispered in his mind. “I love you, too. You’re the only one that I will marry in this life. No one can replace you in my heart.” Charles hugged her closer. “You are the reason that my heart beats. I cannot possible love someone else.” He meant what he said, every word of it. Eleanor’s eyes moistened. Can she find deeper love than this? This man clearly loves her with all his heart. With tears of joy falling on her cheeks, she smiled. “Thank you.” Charles responded with an embrace. Both of them maintained this positioned until they reached the wedding place. When Eleanor saw how the place was arranged, she cannot help but shed tears of joy. She looked at Charles. “You designed all these?” She cannot believe that Charles got the design she ever dreamed of. This is exactly her – the motif, the color, the arrangement. “No, you did.” The truth is Charles did not lie totally. Seven years ago, he stumbled upon her notebook containing her dream wedding. That notebook revealed everything, her dream gown, dream design, motif, arrangement and guests. What he cannot fulfil though is her dream guests since it would reveal her real identity. He memorized the content of the notebook by heart that he can even reproduce an identical one. How can he not? That’s the dream wedding of the person he loves the most. Oh, not only her. By the passage of time, it also became his dream wedding. Eleanor cannot hide the joy she is feeling inside. With one move, she jumped into Charles’ arms. “This is the happiest day of my life,” she said with all honesty. Charles rubbed her cheeks with his fingers. “Me, too.” “Here you are,” the voice of La Carlotta, the famous designer broke their romantic moment. “You’d better get changed. We still have to put make up on you. We've got just some few hours to go before your big moment. ” “La Carlotta!” Charles offered his hand for a handshake. La Carlotta smiled and reached for his hand. She also offered a handshake to Eleanor. Eleanor smiled and shook her hand. “No wonder this Mister Rich Guy fell for you,” La Carlotta said when she shook Eleanor’s hand. “You look like an angel even without any make up on.” Charles’ eyes grew bigger at her. Suddenly, La Carlotta got warned. Oh my God! She nearly gave Eleanor a clue that this was their first meeting. “Oh, thank you.” Eleanor smiled. “Come and wear your gown. We only have a few hours left before your wedding.” La Carlotta attempted to change the topic. She took Eleanor’s hand and led her to the dressing room. When they were near the door, she looked back at Charles, raised her hand with a “peace” sign and smiled. Charles responded by enlarging his eyes, giving her a warning sign to perform better. La Carlotta raised her right hand with her thumb up, giving an “approved” sign. Then they went inside.
