Tick tock Tick tock. That was the sound of the second arm of the wall clock in my office. It was almost one pm. Good, less than one minute more. I was sitting in my chair in my office, staring at the wall clock. I had been in that position for hours, waiting for the perfect time, the time Arsen wouldn’t be able to avoid me, the time he would have no choice but to unlock the door that led to both our offices. It’s been roughly four days since Arsen had locked the door. Four days since I had met eye to eye with him. I didn’t realize how serious he was about not wanting to see me until the avoidance persisted. I mean what was so bad about being vulnerable for a few minutes? All my attempts to make him open the door ended up being futile. He would make me pass him files and documents
