Mira woke up with the feeling of someone on her cheek. She opened her eyes and saw TJ’ brushing her cheek. “Hi” he greeted her.
“Hi. Is Astoria drinking her meds again?” she sat up and rubbed her eyes.
“No. She just had it an hour ago” he answered.
“Oh, I fell asleep. I’m sorry” she apologized.
“It’s okay. Let’s eat something. I’m hungry” he took her hand and pulled her out of the room. Mira looked at her daughter who’s peacefully sleeping on TJ’s bed. “Don’t worry, she’ll be okay” he said and wrapped his arms around her back. “I’m starving” he added.
“I guess we’ll have to cook food, first” she absentmindedly wrapped her arm around his waist as they walked out of the room. It is only when they walked past the living room that she saw their reflection on the mirror. They looked close
