Chapter 10

Suzan’s POV

We are on the ride to Jimmy’s place.

Jeremy asks me, “Did you pack anything for the pool?”

“Yeah, I packed a swim suit don’t know where you might need it!” I reply him.

“Okay!” He replies with a smile.

I’m confused will Jeremy and I will live in the same room?

“What about the room and stuff?” I ask Jer.

“Yeah, there are enough rooms for everyone in the group.” He explains me.

“So, are we sharing a room?” I ask him.

“Seriously you are asking?” He asks me back.

I give him an obvious smile like I’m speechless.

He continues but he holds my hands in his hands “Yeah, I would love to be with you this whole time.”  

“Even I would love that!” I reply to him and kiss on his cheeks.

We reach at Jimmy’s place and Mr. Steward announces “Sir, we have reached the destination”

“Thank you, Mr. Steward” Jeremy and I say together.

“And Mr. Steward please don’t call me sir just Jeremy is great!” He speaks with Mr. Steward.

“Okay, Jeremy!” He speaks

“Yeah, that great!” He replies with a smile.

When we get out, Mr. Steward is helping us get our stuff inside the house.

We both get our suit cases and my camera equipment bags.

We reach the main door and I ring the bell.

After few seconds Jimmy opens the front door with a huge smile.

“Hey Dudes you made it in time before everyone else.” Jimmy tells us. While he hugs Jeremy

Then he hugs me and asks me, “Suz, did you bring your camera equipment?”

“Yeah, how could I forget that after your text every hour to bring it!” I reply him with a smirk.

Jeremy and I burst into laughter and even Jimmy joins us.

“Hey, I just wanted to make sure you didn’t forget it dude!” He explains.

“Okay” I reply to him and show him my bags with the equipment’s.

“Great!” He replies.

“Where is everyone?” Jer asks.

“Sam and J are sitting near the fire place!” Jimmy tells us.

“Listen, I will meet you guys after sometime. Okay?” He announces.

“Yeah, no issue.” Jer replies.

We walk towards J and Sam. While we are walking there

I ask Jer “Hey I guess Andrew is not here yet I couldn’t see his Defender outside.”

“Maybe he is running late!” He replies me.

Jer continues “Did you see the way J and Sam were staring at from the moment we entered the house.”

“Yeah!” I reply and Sam and J still have eyes on us.

We reach near the couch they are sitting on.

“Hey, guys looking great together!” Sam compliments us.

“Thank you” I respond.

Jeremy holds me from behind.

“Hey bro! be chill not going to steal your girl.” J speaks and everyone laughs.

“I know but she will not leave me, I guess. You can try.” He replies with a smile.

I look at him and reply “Maybe I might say yes to you J!”

I grab Jer’s hand and remove them from my body and walk towards J and sit next to him.

“You b***h!” He says with anger and sarcasm.

I hug J and say “You know you are more like the cool brother.”

And Suzan almost chokes on the drink and I get up and hug Jer again.

Jer is showing his middle finger at J and “Says see that’s my girls Suzy!

“I’m but didn’t you just call me a b***h!” I reply him.

“Okay you knew I didn’t mean it!” He replies me and he starts laughing again.

“Whatever” I reply

“Jokes apart you guys I will go check up on Jimmy about the others” Jer tells us.

He kisses on my cheeks and even I kiss him on cheeks

“See you later babe!” I tell him

He replies, “Yeah!”

He walks away and J gets up maybe even I should go

“Hey Jer wait I will join you guys!”

When both are walk together. When they are gone, I sit beside Sam and ask her, “Where is Andrew?”

“He actually went to fill up the tank”

“Ohh! Who gave a ride here then?”

“Andrew he actually left me here then when to fill the gas.” She explains me.

“Okay” While I reply to her, I turn back and grab a beer bottle from the table just behind the couch.

“So, what are we going to do there?” Sam asks me.

“I think we will be doing camping, swimming, trekking and many other activities.” I reply while I open the beer bottle.

“Cheers” I say and we both click our bottles together.

“So how did the talk with your uncle Rahul go?” She asks me.

“Let’s just say he was good enough he didn’t start to be rude he was supportive and he will start his treatment after we return.” I tell her.

“Wait what treatment!” She asks me.

Ohh holy s**t! I forgot I didn’t tell that to everyone.

Now what do I do!

“Ohh I didn’t tell you right!”  I speak.

“Huh” She replies 

“So, I have been having dreams which are not good.” I start explaining to her.

Jeremy’s POV

When I leave Suzan, Sam and Jake alone.

After walking some footsteps

I hear Jake “Hey Jer wait I will join you guys!”

We search for Jimmy who can’t be seen soon but after a few minutes of troll around we see him at the pool table.

“What’s up buddy” He asks

“Just searching for you?” I reply him and J sits on the table which is next to pool table.

I ask him “Where are everyone else? I thought we were going to meet here till now!”

“Rick is no way to pick his girl and Andrew will be back any second now.” He replies me while he shoots a ball.

“So how are you and your girl here soon?” He asks me

“She was just fed up sitting at home so asked me to pick her up” I explain him.

“Would you like a drag?” He asks me while he offers me his vape stick.

“No, I’m good” I reply and he even asks J and he take a drag

“Where are drinks other than beer?” I ask him.

“Kitchen counter” He instructs me.

“Hey dude! One question how did you and Suz get along?” Jimmy asks me.

“Just liked each other and then just went and confessed our feeling to each other.” I try to explain.

“We knew you always had a thing for her but at last you got the girl” He replies.

“Yeah thanks!” I reply to Jimmy.

“What are we going to do there?” J asks me.

“Nothing there is a pool, mountain to trek and next to us is forest which has lot of wildlife.”

“Okay that will be fun.” He replies to me.

“Okay, dude I will be back later for a pool game.” I announce and rush towards the kitchen.

When I reach the counter there, I see Absolut Grapefruit Vodka bottle.

I grab two glasses and take the bottle with me.

When I get near the couch space near fire place. Sam and Suzan are having a conversation by expressions of Suzan I guess that something serious is happening.

I walk more further and then Sam kind off touches Suzan indicating her to stop talking.

She turns and take a look at me.

“Chill he knows my mom talked with him about all this.” She explains Sam.

After hearing that I get that Suzan is telling the reason why her Rahul is here.

I take a seat next to Suzan.

After I’m seated Sam continues “So you get dreams about killing people isn’t that kind of extreme”

“Yeah, it is and my uncle Rahul is here to give me therapy of that we have tried everything else so that’s kind of our last option” She tries to explain.

“See whatever it is I’m here for you” Sam speaks and hugs Suzan and I join them

“Even I’m there for my best friend” I tell.

When we pull apart Sam asks, “Why didn’t you tell me early?”

“I had the same question” I reply.

“Already we were talking about this at home almost all the time I didn’t wanted to talk about it at school so I decided not to tell you guys sorry both of you!” She tells Sam.

“Shut up! That’s alright at least now I and Jer know we can take care of you on trip” Sam replies to Suzan.

“Yeah, I will be there each night with you” I speak

“Thanks!” She tells us.

 “Ohh someone brought in stock!” Sam checks the bottle I brought

“Yeah, I guess its needed now” I reply while I open the bottle and pour 3 drinks for us.

I hand Sam and Suzan their glasses

“So, cheers to this trip and taking care of each other” I raise my glass and make the toast.

“Yeah cheers” Sam and Suzan speak and we click glasses and take a drink.

After Suzan takes a sip, she comes close to me and whisper to me “Thank you for the drink and for your support” When she takes another sip, she kisses me and I didn’t

expect that

“So, it just clicked me that you told me because of your dream you confessed your feeling so it was this!” Sam speaks.

“Yeah” She replies

“Ohh great” Sam speaks and  continues with the laugh.

After sometime when we are s**t talking.

Andrew enters the house when I see him, I speak

“Our ride is here!”

Sam and Suzan turn back and take a look at Andrew

He walks direct towards us.

Suzan’s POV

When he reaches the couch, Sam gets up and hugs Andrew and he kisses her and the both sit down.

“Hey! Guys looking dope together” He compliments us

“You got the girl Jer! Congrats!” He speaks to Jer.

“Yeah, thanks Andrew” Jer replies him.

“So, at last Andrew is here where the hell are Elena and Rick?” I ask

“Yeah, seriously where are they? I called them before you guys arrived here” Sam explains.

“Where was she when you called?” I ask.

“She was cleaning up while she was waiting for Rick!” Sam replies.

I remove my phone and try calling Elena and her phones goes direct to voicemail.

“Maybe they are on their way here maybe there is network issues” Jer tries to explain us.

“We will wait for more 15-20 minutes for them or else we will search for them.” Jer speaks

“Yeah” Andrew agrees with Jer.

Elena’s POV

It’s around 7.50.

I’m cleaning up the stuff in kitchen and just clearing the counters.

When I’m done with that and I’m washing my hands I heard my phone ringing.

I reach for my phone and its Sam’s call.

*OVER CALL*

“Hey, where are you?” Sam almost screams through her phone

“At my house! Just cleaning up the house so that I could leave as early as I can when Rick is here!”  I reply.

“Rick is not there yet!”  She screams again.

“Yeah!” I reply to her.

“We will be there soon Sam I will just get my bags out okay?” I tell her.

“Okay see you soon, bye!” She replies.

I cut the call and go into my room.

While I’m grabbing my small things.

I hear a very weird knock on my door like someone is just moving the door not even banging or knocking it.

I grab what is in my hands and when I’m getting down someone does that again

“Just a second” I shout and put my stuff on the counter.

 I open the door and it creaks open but no one is outside.

It must be wind.

I shut the door and even put the latch on.

I go back to my room to grab my bag. When I’m just about to close my rooms door I hear the noise again.

While I’m getting down again the same noise continues.

I get to the door and unlock the latches when I’m about to open it again I feel cold like wind is coming towards me.
