(Railey POV)
The door opened and Naomi entered with our food.
The room filled with the most delicious smell and I'm definitely not talking about the food.
My wolf was howling and jumping from our mate's intoxicating smell.
'She smells so good!' My wolf howled and I couldn't agree more.
"Ow! Urgh," I grunted as I suddenly felt pain in my stomach. "What the hell!" I whisper shouted at Vince who was smirking.
"You were drooling over her. Wouldn't want to ruin your impression now do we, Alpha?" He said as Lo giggled.
"Shut up," I said glaring at them. They are really taking their opportunity to enjoy this.
"Blue cheese tenderloin, Italian macaroni cheese, and flank steak pinwheel," Naomi said as she placed it on the table.
She was acting very professionally even though her face was a little red. I know she feels the bond even though it is 10 times lesser than mine.
Her scent was so alluring and my wolf was practically clawing me to touch her.
She looked at me, her pair of enchanting blue orbs met with my hazel ones. Time suddenly slowed down and it felt as if we were the only ones in the room. I noticed how her breath quickens with the fast beating of her heart. Her lips were slightly parted as she started to breathe through her mouth.
"You’re staring again" Vince whispered a little louder making me snap out of my trace.
My mate blushed a bright red before coughing and looking away.
"Enjoy!" She squealed before swiftly walking out.
(Naomi POV)
I walked out of the room as fast as I could.
Oh my god! My heart! Why...... why am I feeling like this? I felt so content and happy when I saw him staring at me.
I can't believe his friend pointed it out!
His beautiful hazel eyes held love, l**t, and pride. Never have I ever had a feeling so powerful.
What is this?
"Naomi! What are you doing here?" Raven, my manager asked walking towards me.
"Nothing ma'am. I was just heading to the kitchen." I said to which she nodded. I nodded back before walking my way to the kitchen.
"Are you alright?" Rain, the chief cook, asked as he stirred the hot pot.
"Nothing, Rain. I just remembered something I need to do. What are you making? It smells delicious" I asked walking up to him.
Well, more like trying to change the topic.
Rain is like a second father to me. He was the one who introduced me to this restaurant. He loves me like his own daughter and always helps me in every trouble.
"I'm making hot and spicy chicken soup. Here taste it" he said as he took a spoon full of soup.
Blowing it cold, I took a sip of it. "So damn good Rain! It's perfect" I said smiling.
"Thank you, sweetheart," he said before he turned to grab some pepper. Taking the chance, I took another spoon of the soup, blowing it quickly before sipping on it.
"Hey!" He shouted amused as I giggled and ran.
"Oh look at the time! I have to go and serve the people" I said running out.
"That girl" I heard him say after a quick laugh.
Reaching the VIP lounge I took a deep breath. Somehow the idea of seeing him makes my heart beat fast.
A smile formed on my face at the thought of hearing his voice again.
"Omg, what are you saying! Bad Naomi!" I scolded myself before opening the door.
But then again my smile never faded. Well, that is until I looked towards the table.
Sadness filled my eyes as I walked to the table. My leg hit the trolley making me yelp in pain. "Ow!" I shouted.
"s**t! Are you alright!" The green eye girl asked coming towards me.
"Yes yes. I'm alright. I just got lost in thoughts" I said rubbing my knee. But my eyes were focused on the chair which was once occupied by the beautiful hazel-eyed guy.
Where is he?
(Loreal POV)
I helped her to the chair but I was trying so hard not to laugh. It looks like she is missing him a lot more than I expected.
My plan is going to work smoothly.
"Are you still in pain, Naomi?" I asked sitting in the chair next to hers.
"No. I'm alright," she said giving me a smile.
"Railey had an emergency, so they left," I said adding a dramatic sigh.
"Railey?" She asked.
"Oh right! I'm sorry! We haven't introduced ourselves" I exclaimed.
"My name is Loreal. You can call me Lo. The silver eyes guy was Vince, my boyfriend and the other one is Railey." I said.
"Oh, Railey" she whispered slowly to herself making me smirk.
"Do you like it?" I asked as she blushed bright red.
"You know, he has a thing for you too," I said making her snap her eyes to me.
"Really?" She asked.
"Hm-hmm..." I nodded eating the last of my macaroni.
“Hey, when will you finish work,” I asked.
"In about half an hour," she said checking her watch.
"Alright, I'll wait for you." I said as she tilted her head in confusion. "What? I'm alone and I want company. Now go and finish up fast. I'll wait for you by the entrance" I said shooing her away.
She stood there a moment looking confused before she nodded and left.
"Part 1 of mission complete. Setting them together is going to be a piece of cake." I said with a smirk on my face.
