Chapter Three - Siblings, Or Not!

1705 Words
I am walking to the fields to watch Marius during his soccer practice. I love watching him run around the field and score goals. I find that side of him just as hot as I find the nerdy side of him to be. As I round the corner to one of the hallways, I hear voices and I see Wesley’s silhouette. I decide to stand back and observe what's going on. I pull back quickly when I see one of the boys turn in my direction. “You poor, low-life orphan. You think because you attend this school that you're one of us?” I hear a boy taunt Wesley. “He can never be, I mean we are legitimate heirs, but he’s a stray, a stray that they pitied,” another boy speaks up and his statement is followed by laughter. I don’t hear Wesley say anything and when I peep again, I see him still standing in the same position. “You can't talk?” “Nah. He a p***y! He only is talking to his sister, his sister that I’m sure he likes.” “I’d have said it was incest but then again, they ain’t blood. Homie, you can never take Marius’ place in her life,” One boy says. I feel my heart crack for Wesley. No one knows I’m adopted because I started out high school with all of them. My parent adopted me when I was ten, and they never told anyone. Maybe I should have been smarter and lie that Wesley had been schooling abroad but I let people know that he’s my adopted brother and now he’s getting a hard time for it. I begin to wonder how long Wesley has been taunted and bullied. As I’m about to walk out into their line of vision and defend him, I see one of them swing at Wesley and I freeze. Wesley staggers but doesn't retaliate. There are three boys in total, all looking like they live in the gym. A tall blonde-haired boy punches Wesley again and this time, Wesley retaliates, breaking the boy’s nose with a punch. I hear the sickening crunch and the other two guys cringe a bit. “Now, you’re really going to get it,” a boy with curly hair says before punching Wesley in the cheek. The four of them begin to throw punches, three against one. When I see Wesley drop to the floor I unfreeze and run towards them. “Stop!” I shout as the tall blonde-haired boy tries to step on Wesley’s stomach/ “Leave him alone. Haven’t you done enough?” I shout and kneel beside Wesley. “Hey, are you okay?” I whisper and he groans in response. I look up ans see the three boys standing and looking at us. “What the f**k are you three still waiting for? Leave before I report this,” I say and they all scramble away. I place Wesley’s head on my laps. “Where does it hurt? Should I take you to a hospital?” “It’s not that serious. I think I just need to get home and sleep.” “No, we have to treat these wounds Wesley,” I say, looking at his bleeding eyebrow and bruised jaw. “They can be treated at home.” “Okay fine, let’s go” “Thought you had to wait behind with your boyfriend” “Your health is more important to me than Marius’ soccer practice,” I say and help him up. He leans his weight against me and I stagger a bit. “Woah!” I say as I try to find my balance so we both won't crashland. I manage to walk him to my car and put him in the passenger seat. I drive home like I’m in some sort of high-speed chase. I park my car haphazardly and call for one of the maids in our house to come to help me. But I only see Mr. Benjamin. “Mr. Benjamin! I need your help,” I say and he rushed towards the car. “What’s wrong?” “It’s Wesley, I need you to help me get him to his room.” He tries to help Wesley out of the car. “I can walk,” Wesley says when he sees Mr. Benjamin. “What do you mean? Your weight nearly threw me off balance, remember?” “The pain isn’t horrible, I can walk. I said nothing because you were panicking slightly.” I sigh at him and turn to Benjamin “I’m so sorry for disturbing you Mr. Benjamin. “ “It’s okay Adelaide. I’ll get the first aid kit and put it in his room” “Thank you,” I say to his retreating figure and turn to face Wesley with my hands on my hips. “Come on, let’s get you treated.” “Yes nurse Adelaide,” he says with a smirk and I stare at him in mock shock. “Did you try to crack a joke? Maybe I should have asked them to hit you a long time ago.” Wesley smiles at me and gets out of the car. “I feel cheated right now. I nearly questioned the purposefulness of my going to the gym when I struggled to get you to my car.” “I’ll say for a woman, you tried.” I deadpan at him “I would punch your shoulder, but that’ll be mean considering what you just went through,” I threaten but he laughs. It’s the first time I’m hearing him laugh and I don't know what to say that won’t be awkward. “You should laugh a lot,” I blurt out and cover my mouth quickly “I didn-”, “I get what you mean,” he says with a small smile and I’m scared I’ve pushed him back into his shell. We say nothing to each other as we walk into the house and head for his room. Wesley is leaning against the counter in his bathroom, his back facing the mirror. He’s bare-chested and in nothing but his uniform trouser. I removed my jacket and tie and rolled up my sleeves so I could wash my hands and clean his wound without infecting them. The first aid kit is open on the counter. “This might sting,” I say before rubbing his chest area with an antiseptic cotton wool. His chest is rock hard, just like Marius’ chest and it takes a lot of restraint to remember that Wesley is my brother and I can’t run my hands down his chest. “Didn't sting a bit,” he jokes with me and I look up and smile at him. “Say that again when I rub this on your eyebrows.” “Go ahead.” I pour the antiseptic on a new piece of cotton wool and put it on his eyebrows, not breaking eye contact with him. He doesn't flinch. It’s just now I notice how tall Wesley is. I’m five foot seven, and Wesley looks to be six foot four. I clean his wound and drop the cotton wool. Roy moves closer to my face and whispers “Didn't sting a bit, nurse Adelaide.” I would have giggled or laughed at him and then push him away if my heart wasn't hammering against my ribcage as it is doing right now. Wesley moves closer to my face and I don’t stop him. “I really want to do something I shouldn't be doing Ade!” His voice is husky and it sends a shiver down my spine. I look at his lips before looking back at him. “Stop me because I can’t hold myself back anymore,” he says before closing the little space between us and locking his lips with mine. My hands immediately go up to his face. The kiss is hot and fast. It’s almost as if we’ve both been starved for this. His hands go down to my ass and he grabs it. He squeezes it and I feel heat pool between my legs. “Uh!” I moan against his lips. I allow my hands to roam his chest, feeling his rock-hard abs and defined chest bones. I feel him shudder from my touch. His boner is touching my stomach and in a fit of bravery, I reach down and grab it. The guttural sound from his throat tells me I’m doing something right. “Adelaide!”He calls out my name in a breathless whisper. Wesley lifts me up and places me on the edge of the counter. He grinds himself on my clothed clit, and I follow suit. I jerk a bit when I feel his clothed p***s tip rub against my vagina “Wesley!” I whimper out and he bites my lip. “Not too loud!” He says, and his room door opens. We pull apart as fast as possible and I pretend to be cleaning his wounds. “Wesley? Adelaide?” Our mum calls out just as she walks into the bathroom. “Where are yo-Oh my goodness! What happened to you Wesley?” she exclaims, rushing to his side and almost pushing me out of her way “Sports practice,” he lies to her “You’ve got to be careful. Come let me help you out. Adelaide you should go get changed in the meantime, we have to leave soon” “For?” She pauses with the gauze in her hand “Your check-up," she says and I mouth ‘oh’ as I leave the bathroom, forgetting that my monthly appointment is today. I walk back to my room, a giddy smile on my face, but I’m also confused about what’s going to happen from here on out with Wesley. I mean he’s my brother and we can’t keep doing this forever. I shake my head to rid myself of all the thoughts. “We'll cross those bridges when we get there," I say as I take off my clothes and walk into the shower.
