Chapter 1.

Elaine’s P.O.V

“BLOODY b***h!!” He shouted and the sound of a slap echoed through the room. I covered my mouth with my hand, trying to stop myself from screaming. I was so scared that I even forgot to breathe as my eyes widened. My whole body was trembling and sweating as I peeped through the small hole in the cupboard, a cupboard I had now been hiding in for the past hour.

“How dare you ask for money.” The man said as he again slapped Nora. he had slapped her so many times that I had lost count after the fiftieth time. I watched as blood trickled out of her mouth, but she was trying her hardest not to cry after the animalistic abuse she had suffered. It was abuse that a normal person couldn't bear, let alone survive. She knew I was watching all of this, she knew that I had seen everything.

“But if you don't give me money then how am I going to eat? Please sir, give me some money for my service…” Nora said and she had again made the mistake of asking for money from that animal. He looked manic as he continued to slap her until she no longer satisfied his sadistic ears with her screams. He let go of her and she fell in a heap on the floor, groaning in pain.

“YOU OMEGA’S ARE BORN TO BE f****d!! YOU ARE A w***e!! HOW DARE YOU ASK FOR MONEY!! I COME HERE EVERYDAY AND YOU HAVE TO f**k ME LIKE THE b***h THAT YOU ARE FOR FREE!!” The man shouted at her and I saw what he was going to do to her. My eyes widened as he brought his foot back and kicked her in the stomach, making her scream out and blood spill out of her mouth. I was about to come out of the cupboard and try to save her as he wasn't going to stop. When I saw Nora gesturing for me not to come out or we would both be dead I had to stop myself. I stayed put. I was remembering how this all started.

Flashback….

It all started when I entered the room to check on Nora, as she was feeling sick. When I saw her, though, I ran towards her as she was lifelessly lying on her bed.

“Nora, are you all right?” I asked and helped her to sit up, placing the pillow behind her back. She nodded her head weakly, saying she was fine but I knew it was not true. She is not fine.

“Did you eat?” I asked her because she looked so weak. She looked as if someone had sucked all of the blood out of her body. Her skin looked pale and white.

“No, I do not have money. My customers did not give me any money so I could not buy any food.” Nora slowly and quietly replied. I understood that she has not eaten anything for two days,  the same as me. My pack members also did not give me any food, not even a drop of water. 

We are both omegas. Our pack is under the Alpha King's palace territory and because of this it is one of the biggest packs in the country. We are the slaves of our pack and we only get to eat if they are happy with us, but making them happy is impossible. They make us do all kinds of work. They treat us as if we are animals. We are living a life of dirt. They are killing us slowly, but what am I saying? I don’t even know who I am. They just say I am an Omega.

“Don’t worry Nora, after work tomorrow I will bring you some food. I will ask for some money and buy medicine for you.” I said and she nodded. She knew what I was saying was impossible, but there was a little hope. At the age of twenty one, Nora could predict what was going to happen to us. She had been a slave for her entire life and the same goes for me.

Nora was brought here when my pack defeated hers. Even though she was only a child at the time, no one had any mercy on her. Alpha made her the w***e of the pack when she turned 16. I am soon to be eighteen tomorrow and I do not know where my destiny is going to lead me.

I brought her a glass of water and she took a couple of giant gulps. It was a substitute for food and it was good as we have had nothing to drink for a while. I looked at the water and badly wanted to take a drink. My throat had become dry and my lips were starting to c***k, but I knew I could not drink or the outcome was going to be bad.

“Drink it Elaine. I know your position is no better than mine. They are not here. No one will see you. Drink it quickly before it’s too late.” Nora said and I looked at her. She knew my position was different than hers. I am not w***e, but a slave.

“It’s ok Nora. There is not much water left. You keep it for yourself. I am good.” I lied to her, putting the glass back.

“For now please sleep and don’t think about money. Trust me, I will do whatever I have to do to get you food tomorrow.” I assured her and made her lay back down.

Here if we want to have any food or water we need to get permission from Luna, but even if they permit us, we need to pay them something in return. Either you need to give them s*x service or work for two days in the pack without eating or drinking anything 

That’s what I am doing. For little food and water I have been working like a donkey in the pack, non-stop like a machine, and without sleeping. I was thinking about how I was going to get food for Nora when I also do not have a single grain. As I was lost deep in my thoughts, suddenly someone knocked on the door. I panicked to hear the knock and Nora sat in the bed fearing the worst.

It was not a normal knock, but a bang. I looked at the door, the fear in my eyes clearly seen. I got up from Nora's bed and backed away in fear. It was late at night. No one in the pack knows I sneak in here to see Nora. I always come here this late because no men are here, but tonight, it seems, a man has arrived.

“OPEN THE DOOR!!!” A man screamed in anger and Nora panicked. I was trembling in fear.

“If he sees me in here then I am finished.” I whispered to myself. My death was standing behind that door. I know he is a pack member because only the pack members come to Nora and some guests of Alpha. Nora heard me and she held my hand tightly with her shaking hands. She looked into my eyes and smiled at me.

“Elaine, go and hide in the cupboard and don’t come out until I tell you.” Nora whispered and my eyes widened due to fear. It means she was going to open the door and let him in.

“No Nora, don’t do it. Don’t open the door. You know what he will do if you open the door. You are sick right now. You will not be able to bear it.” I whispered back to her and stopped her from opening the door. She was inviting not only mine, but her death too. She looked at the door and again looked at me.

“You also know you will not be able to bring me food, Elaine. At least let me try it. I need money or I will die of hunger. Don’t worry, it happens to me daily so just do as I am asking.” Nora whispered and she forced herself to smile at me. I was looking into her weak eyes, she was talking crazy.

“No, I will not let you do it. Your body is too weak! You will die!” I whispered to her, but she just held my hand. I hadn't realised that she had walked me over to the cupboard until she pushed me inside it. She used some spray made of herbs and other items, then sprayed inside and outside the cupboard to hide my scent. We always use it and it works too. She closed the doors of the cupboard hurriedly and acted normal, running to open the door. She looked normal and not at all panicked. 

“WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO OPEN THE DOOR?!!” The man shouted and pushed her back harshly. With his push she was about to fall on the floor, but she managed to stay standing. He scanned the room like he was searching for someone. Looking through a hole in this nearly broken wooden cupboard I was not able to see his face, but I could tell he was tall. I did not know why but I felt like I knew that person. Who is he?

“I am sorry, I was deeply asleep, so I did not hear you.” Nora replied and closed the door behind her and looked back at him.

“I thought that you were f*****g some other man.” He said, clutching her hair tightly. He was still looking around suspiciously as if searching for another man.

“No, I was sleeping.” Nora replied. Her eyes went to the cupboard to convey to me again to not come out. He turned a little and my eyes widened in fear as I saw his face. He was the Beta of our pack! He also comes to Nora?! He acts like he hates her in front of everyone.

“It’s good to hear. Now I want good care from you and you will have to start with…. I hope you already know.” He said, ordering her and pushed her down harshly. She nodded quietly and I could see that she was feeling awkward because she knew that I was also in the room, but she continued anyway. She did what he asked of her. 

Suddenly I saw Nora closing her eyes and I understood that she was feeling dizzy, but she did not stop. It continued for a long time. I just wanted it to end even more than Nora probably did. I was glad when he stopped. I thought that now he would leave, but I was mistaken. He was a monster, I thought as I closed my eyes and covered my ears. His animalistic groans were making me feel like I was going to vomit. 

“You are not as good as you usually are. You are not pleasing me properly. Are you sure you were not with any men today?” He said in a mocking way. She just nodded and told him that she wasn’t. Nora looked at me and I saw the pain in her eyes. She was doing all of this for money, for food. There was holding onto a little hope that she would be able to fulfil her need. 

After an hour, when he felt satisfied, he left her on the bed. She was not able to move because she was in so much pain and only a painful moan was coming out of her mouth. This one hour was hell for me. She did everything in front of me. She did everything in order to get money. Beta put his clothes back on and as Nora saw him going, she used her full strength to get up from the bed.

“Please give me some money.” Nora begged as she stood with the help of a table near the bed. He did not listen to her, he just pushed her away. Whenever she was asking for money she was only going to get beaten.

Flashback ends….

He was repeatedly kicking her stomach and her eyes were telling me not to come out and to save myself from this monster. She was hiding my big secret. The secret which will destroy my life like hers.

‘Virgin’

I am the only omega here who is a virgin and no one knows about it. They say my mother was one of the w****s of the pack and my father never married her. She was used and thrown away. My mother was sentenced to death as they say she committed a crime against Luna. I am the daughter of a traitor and they threw me in the darkness of s*****y. 

I am a slave to my pack and they make me do any kind of work they want, but I do not do it for food or anything else. I do it to keep breathing. I only breathe, I don’t have any dreams. Now tears don’t even come out of my eyes when I see the reality of my life. Every Omega here is taken by Alpha, Beta and Alpha’s son.

They own us, they can do anything with us and no one says anything. They are all the same. They loathe us, but they like us in bed. They use us whenever they want and throw us away after they’re done. I am going to be eighteen tomorrow and they do not know I am a virgin. I tried my best to hide myself from them and maybe it is my luck since I am the daughter of a traitor. They do not want me like they want other women. 

He left the room leaving Nora on the cold floor. Her eyes were closed in pain. My hands pushed the door of the cupboard open and I stepped out. I felt as if my legs had no strength. I picked a torn blanket from the bed, which was as full of dirt just like mine was. I was walking to her with my shaky legs, but fell on my knees. I covered her body with the blanket. I put her head on my lap and saw she was opening her eyes.

“Get up from the floor, Nora. It’s cold.” I said and tried to help her to get up, but she closed her eyes and did not say a single word to me. 

“Nora… are you…” I could not say anything as I got scared. She was not opening her eyes, not even crying. My fingers weakly went to her nose and tears came out of my eyes when I felt her breathing stop.

“NORA!” I shouted, crying loudly. She died. My only friend in the pack died in front of my eyes and I could not save her life.

“Nora… wake up… please…. I promise I will bring food tomorrow. You do not have to do it again for money but please wake up…” I said to her, shaking her lifeless body. I laid my head on her body crying and begging for her to wake up.

“YOU b***h!!!” Suddenly I felt pain from my head as someone was dragging me out of Nora’s room by my hair. I cried in pain and held my hair as Nora’s body was left on the floor. I was not able to see his face, but I knew he was the soon to be Alpha, Alpha’s only son Lewis. He dragged me out of Nora’s room and threw me in my room. My head hit the floor and I cried in pain.

“WHAT THE f**k WHERE YOU DOING IN THERE?!!” Lewis shouted and I saw Beta standing beside him, giving me a dirty look. It means he is the one who told Lewis that I was there. He knew about my presence, but did not do anything.

“BEAT THAT b***h TO DEATH FOR HER DISOBEDIENCE!!” Natasha suddenly shouted, entering the room. She is the beloved daughter of Alpha and sister of Lewis. She smiled at Beta like she was saying he did a good job and then glared at me. It finally dawned on me. It was all planned. They already knew I was in the room. He did not suddenly appear in Nora’s room, but he did everything under the order of Natasha. She came up to me and slapped me hard across the face.

“I TOLD YOU TO BRING ME TEA!! HOW DARE YOU IGNORE ME AND GO TO MEET THAT w***e!!!” Natasha shouted, slapping me across my face again and my body fell to the floor. I was not able to sit up anymore. She was lying. She did not ask me for any tea. She always does this so she can have even more reason to beat me. 

“DID YOU NOT HEAR WHAT NATASHA ASKED YOU?!! WHAT THE f**k WERE YOU DOING IN THAT w***e’S ROOM?!!” Lewis shouted again and it was a clear warning that if I didn't obey him that something bad was waiting for me.

“Nora…she…is dead…” I said to Lewis with great difficulty and his eyes turned red. Suddenly he kicked me in the stomach and I closed my eyes. I could not even shout because of the pain and curled up on the floor holding my stomach.

“SHE IS AN OMEGA!! A w***e!! BORN TO BE DEAD!! SO WHAT IF SHE DIED?!! DO YOU THINK I WILL GO AND PAY HER MY RESPECT, LEAVING ALL MY IMPORTANT WORK JUST BECAUSE YOU, ‘A SLAVE’, IS HAVING SYMPATHY FOR HER?!!” He shouted and I heard a chuckle from Natasha.

“Yeah, she must be expecting something like that or maybe she went there to see how she could become a w***e. I think after Nora’s death we should make her the w***e of the pack.” Nora suggested, looking at her pointed, polished nails. My eyes widened to hear her. She wants me to become w***e? She looked at me with an evil smile and clutched my cheeks tightly.

“Be ready to become the w***e of the pack tomorrow.” She said, showing me the hate in her eyes and causing me pain in my cheeks.

“Let’s go. This b***h’s room is only suffocating me.” Natasha said, kicking me in the stomach with her high heels one last time before leaving the room. Beta and Natasha left, but not Lewis. He came closer to me and held my cheeks so softly that it gave me chills. I shivered in fear from his touch and his dirty eyes.

“No need to be scared of becoming a w***e, Elaine. I promise after tomorrow when you become a w***e that you will only have to serve me. Do you know why?” He asked in a sadistic tone and I tried to get away from him, but he held me tightly and gritted his teeth in anger.

“Because you will become my personal whore.” He said in a confident voice and left the room. After he left, I finally let go of the tears that I had been holding in for a while now. Tomorrow when I turn eighteen they will turn me into Lewis' personal w***e. He is the one who had his eyes on me for a long time. 

I never thought that my aimless life was going to turn like that, but it was not completely aimless. I was lying to myself when I’d say that I do not want anything in my life. I do want something… I want my mate like the others do. I want him.

Keeping one hand on my stomach I tried to sit up on the floor. My hand went under my torn blanket that was on the floor and I pulled out the same photo that I had admired my whole life. I wanted to meet him one more time before my life changed and I became dirty to him.
