chapter 2. Saved.

Chapter 2.   

Elaine’s P.O.V 

 It was now six in the morning and my eyes had remained fixed on the clock hanging on the wall in front of me all night. By this time I should already be in the kitchen, making breakfast for everyone because that is what I do, that is the duty that has been assigned to me since childhood, but I did not only do the cooking I also did all the work for the entire pack. I even had to wash the underwear of Natasha that she keeps specially for me to wash.

 Even if I am late by even a minute then the whip that is hanging on the kitchen wall would be ready for me, but today the atmosphere here has changed completely. I realised that another woman had been appointed to take my place in the kitchen as I was going to be appointed as the w***e of this pack soon. I couldn't stop thinking about it all through the night and now my eyes had turned red and swollen. I couldn't close my eyes for even a moment of sleep because Lewis’s words were not letting me rest in peace.

It was now eight in the morning and tears had started to fall from my eyes because I was also thinking about Nora. I do not know what they did with her dead body, but I know that I am responsible for her death. I could have saved her if I had dared to come out of the cupboard, then maybe things wouldn’t have turned out this way. Maybe I could have saved her, but now it is too late.

I put my hand on my stomach, clutching it as I felt the pain again. I felt like I was going to die soon, especially with not having anything to eat or drink for three days. I knew that if I didn't have any water today then I was surely going to die.

Suddenly I heard the door to my room being unlocked from the outside. They had locked it because they thought that I was going to escape, but where could I escape to? The door to my room kicked open and someone walked in, making me flinch back and shout in fear as members of the pack stormed into my room. Beta Dale walked into my room and gestured to the other pack members who were now walking towards me, making me crawl back in fear.

“NO!!” I shouted out, just as one of them was about to touch me. I shoved the hand away from me and in return got slapped hard across the face by Beta Dale and again he gave me his usual cold glare.

“Don’t test my patience! Come quietly or I won't have any problem dragging you out of here naked.” Beta Dale said and even more tears came out of my eyes when I heard him. Suddenly an evil smile spread across his face as he saw my tears, like they were satisfying to this sadistic man.

“Lewis asked that I personally deliver this message to you. If you don't come quietly then he will personally come down here, strip you naked and drag you out by that beautiful long hair of yours.” Beta Dale said, looking into my eyes and I was shivering from what he said. I know that if these are Lewis’s words then he would definitely do it and no one would dare to stop him.

“Do you understand?” Beta Dale asked and I quickly nodded my head, not wanting to test Lewis’s patience. Alpha Lewis has been trying to get me naked in his presence for years now and I didn’t want to give him the chance to see me like that through my own disobedience. Beta Dale once again gestured to the other pack members and they violently grabbed my arms, dragging me out of my room. As I was dragged I noticed that it was raining and I hadn't noticed it before.

In a matter of a few seconds I was thrown onto the floor of the meeting room and I moaned in pain as I moved a little. I was in so much pain that I felt like I was dying. I lifted my eyes to see Alpha Fabian and Luna Wilma sitting in their chairs, looking right at me. I quickly lowered my eyes as I saw the hate-filled eyes of Luna Wilma. She was sitting next to the Alpha. I already knew Lewis was on the right side and Natasha was beside him, but I did not want to see them as I knew they must have a smirk on their faces, telling me that because I have turned eighteen today my whole life will be turned upside down.

Lewis must have already discussed this matter with Alpha and Luna during the night. Luna will do anything to make Lewis happy and what would really make him happy right now is to f**k me in his bed. I closed my eyes in fear as I was waiting for the announcement from Alpha, declaring that I have been appointed as a w***e of Lewis and he would drag me to his room where I would lose every hope and dream in my life. I will lose the hope of meeting him too… 

“What are you doing here? Get out!” Alpha ordered and I looked up to him with shocked eyes. He was asking me to leave the hall? How is this possible? He would never do it. He is the reason why I am living the life of a slave. I looked at Luna’s face that was mixed with both anger and shock to hear Alpha’s words. My eyes went to the panicked face of Lewis and I saw that the ground had slipped out from beneath him to hear Alpha’s order. He looked at me in anger and gave me a murderous look. I did not bother to look at Natasha as I could predict her expression and hateful eyes that she has been giving me for the last eighteen years. Nothing is new.

“But father…” Lewis started to say and stepped up to talk to Alpha. “I discussed it last night with my mother. I want Elaine as my personal w***e!” Lewis said and he dared to raise his voice in anger, forgetting that he was talking to Alpha. In return, he got a deadly growl from Alpha as he glared at Lewis. Luna immediately tried to calm Alpha to protect her son from Alpha’s wrath.

“I think it is time to give this daughter of a traitor to our son as a personal w***e, my Alpha. I also agree with Lewis. After all, he is going to become Alpha in the next few days and I want to gift this slut to my son. Let us see our son be happy. After all she is just an omega. Born to serve us. Born to become the w***e of my son.” Luna Wilma said and she said the last line with great impact, looking into my eyes as she was telling me to basically get ready to be f****d. I lowered my eyes again and my whole body was shaking in fear. Now I am done. Alpha Fabian would not refuse Luna’s request. Suddenly I got a mind-link from Lewis and I looked up at him.

“Now go to my room Elaine. Go and strip. Don’t let me see a single piece of clothing on your milky whity body or I will peel your skin with my nails and then I will f**k you.” Lewis said, mind-linking me with a dirty smile and looking at me. Tears came out of my eyes after hearing him and I could not stop myself. I heard a chuckle from Natasha who was reveling at my situation.

“DIDN'T YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID?!! GET OUT!!!” Alpha shouted at me and I crawled back. He still wants me to go. He is not announcing me as the w***e of the pack. I could not understand how I should react or be happy in the situation, but I got up from the floor to leave the room quickly, all the time holding my stomach.

“YOU BLOODY b***h!! WAIT!!” Lewis shouted at me and I flinched as he grabbed a handful of my hair, clutching it tightly and turned me around so that we were both facing Alpha.

“Father… Why are you doing this? I want her! You know it. I want her in any condition!” Lewis stubbornly said, releasing his anger out on my hair and maintaining his tone in front of Alpha. I cried out in pain as it felt like he was ripping my hair from my scalp. Alpha growled at Lewis and it was his last warning. All the pack members present in the room got scared, including Lewis. He immediately let go of  my hair.

“GET THE f**k OUT!!!” Alpha shouted at me and I immediately ran out of the room, holding my painful stomach. I was running in the rain like crazy and did not stop. I can not believe….I am saved. They did not make me a w***e. I am not dirty. I am still pure…only for him. I finally stopped running and I cried happy tears as I fell onto my knees, crying loudly as I could not understand how long I would be able to save myself from them.

When will I be able to meet him? What if he already had a mate? Then what will I do? Sobbing, I looked up to the sky and let the rain drop on my face. It was hiding my tears. Weakly I opened my mouth and drank the rainwater as I knew after whatever just happened in the hall would not lead me anywhere good. I will be abused like an animal, but I need to survive. I have to. For him. No matter if he has a mate or not, at least I want to see him again before my death.

Lewis’s P.O.V 

I saw Elaine running out of the meeting room and I could not say anything after father’s order. I was going crazy to think I still could not have her! I could not f**k her in my bed like I had always wished for.

 “Everyone, leave the room. I want to talk to Lewis!” Father ordered. Natasha, who was standing a little away from me, was burning in the same rage as I was. Mother gestured for her to leave with her and they both left the room, taking angry breaths and big, heavy steps. Everyone left the room and I was the one who was left standing in front of my father. I could not look into his eyes. I just clenched my hands to stop myself from saying or doing anything that I may regret later.

 “Lewis.” Father said and I looked at him, taking an angry breath.

“Why father? Why? You know everything. Nothing is hidden from you. I want to have Elaine!” I demanded to know his reasons and father just looked at me passively.

“There are too many w****s and women in our pack. They are some of every age and many that are more beautiful than Elaine. Take anyone else but forget about Elaine.” Father replied. Now I've had enough.

“BUT WHY CAN'T I HAVE ELAINE, FATHER!! I ONLY WANT ELAINE!!” I shouted and suddenly I got slapped across my face by my father and my wolf instantly submitted to him.

“Don’t you dare raise your voice at me again! I am still Alpha and by acting like this you are making me rethink my decision to hand over my position to you!” My father said in warning.

My eyes widened. He’s never threatened me with that before.

“IT IS MY DECISION THAT YOU WON'T HAVE ELAINE!! DO YOU HEAR ME?!! DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HER OR YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT BECOMING ALPHA OF THIS PACK!!!” My dad shouted at me and left the room, but he didn't use his Alpha tone on me. I shouted in anger and badly wanted to kill someone. I wanted to bathe in their blood, but I knew that my hunger for Elaine was not going to be satisfied until I have her.

“WHY CAN'T I HAVE HER?!!!” I shouted and suddenly I felt Natasha’s hand on my shoulder.

“You can have her and I will help you.” Natasha said with a smile that made me smile too. 

“I will have her.” I said to myself.
