“So you have everything under control? Border patrols, surveillance, pack lunch and dinner and training sessions?” Logan double checks with Fredrik, who grabs his shoulder and smiles.
“Relax Alpha. Everything will be fine. It’s just another day in the pack, we won’t fall apart without you both for one day. Go. Go and see Maddy and send her my love.”
Logan turns to me and exhales dramatically. I can see the doubt he has in us both leaving the pack at the same time. It is a very rare occurrence. One of us always tries to be present as much as possible. But this was important. This was Maddy. And Ruby. And Ezra. We both needed to be there.
