This can be read as a standalone, but might destroy the first trilogy if you plan on reading it, since this is Brody's story and he's a big part of the baby daddy series.

To love someone who doesn't belong to you hurts on so many different levels that I can't even begin to describe the feeling to you. When that person is also married to your brother, then it gets even worse. Over the years, I've seen her give birth to my brother's children and love him in a way that only she can. I'm happy for their happiness; I've always been. But part of me hurts every time I see their declarations of love to each other, mainly because I wish it were me Eleonora loved that way. I have no plans to tell them anything; this is a secret I take with me into the grave. She will never know how much she changed the troublesome man I once was, how much I love her, and how easily I can give my life for her. All the things she doesn't know, which I can't tell her without tearing the family apart and losing them for good.
