~~Raya’s PoV~~
I have never slept so soundly in my life. I thought the sleep I had the day before in my own room was incredible, but compared to lying in Tristan’s arms with his firm, naked body warm against mine and his mark on my neck, every other night I have ever had pales in comparison.
The marking drains my energy, and his as well. Our minds are connected now and so are our wolves, on an even deeper level than they were before, and all of that requires energy from our bodies, so when we fall into sleep, still wrapped up together, it is deep and uninterrupted.
When I finally open my eyes again, there is some sunlight through the narrow windows, letting me know that it’s daytime. It takes a moment before I remember where I am and what happened the night before; it doesn’t come back
