The prospect of potentially getting our hands on one of the Faceless, alive and able to answer questions, is as exciting for me as it is for Tristan. There are so many things I want to know about them: where they came from, why they came here and why they targeted werewolves specifically. I want to know why they hate us so much that they keep us like wild animals, hunting us for sport. Perhaps this man won’t be able to answer that, since it hasn’t actually happened yet, but there must be some reason he can give that explains how it all began.
