The Intent of the Moon Goddess (#1)

Chapter 13- Katy

I am just finishing my makeup when Anna knocks on my bedroom door at the pack house. As soon as I open the door, I know she’s been for a run again,

“You’ve got to be kidding me? Anna, we have to leave in under two hours. Why haven’t you started getting ready?” I’m already assessing the damage, she needs to shower, do her hair and makeup and get dressed. 

“I really don’t want to go Katy Kat, why does it have to be on the beach for goodness sake?” I knew this was going to be an issue, it always is. 

“This is about the swimwear, isn’t it?” She gives a small nod “Anna you have a beautiful body, you’ll look lovely!” 

I can see from the look on her face that she is not convinced. “It’s not about that, Katy, I just don’t want anyone seeing my body, whether it’s beautiful or not, I don’t want to reveal it, and let’s face it I’ll be practically naked!” 

I think about what she has said, I think if I can put together a beach appropriate outfit that covers her up, she’ll go “right jump in the shower, wash your hair and don’t forget to shave! I’ll get some cover-up clothes and we’ll put a beach-worthy Anna-approved outfit together. And if you don’t like it, we’ll both stay here.” 

She gives a small sigh but nods. I throw towels at her and dash about finding items of clothing that may be suitable. I call Daphne who will bring stuff she thinks Anna will like from her boutique.

Anna’s out of the shower and I’m drying her hair when Daphne arrives. Thank the Moon Goddess for Daphne and her boutique.he has brought a variety of shawls, tunics, cover ups, wraps, kimonos, sun dresses. 

Anna gets a little teary when she sees the effort we have gone to, so she feels comfortable. Anna puts on her black swimming costume, and honestly when I look at her, she has a figure to die for, yes, I admit she is slightly bigger than some of the other she-wolves, but her large breasts are high and firm, she goes in at the waist, her tummy is flat, her legs are strong and muscular, and her bottom is round and pert. There is no mistaking that Anna is a woman, whereas I look like a little boy in comparison.

Anna finally decides on a black crochet and lace tunic cover up, which goes to above her knee. We add gold accessories and gold gladiator sandals, I pin back the top half of her hair but let it all fall in beach waves down her back. I stand back to let her see herself in the mirror and I know by her wide-eyed expression she is surprised and shocked by the vision we created. 

I quickly changed into my outfit. I have a new pink floral bikini that has a padded bra, cut off denim shorts and a long white sheer shirt that I’m going to leave open. 

My mother got me a necklace that is like a choker but then it snakes down between my breasts and wraps in a loop around my tummy too. I put on my platform pumps to make me look taller, touch up my make-up and we are ready to go. 

Anna oohs and ahhs at my outfit and reminds me of one of the many reasons why I love my best friend. Although she doesn’t want to show her body, she doesn’t judge me for being more revealing with mine. 

Daphne leaves taking the rest of her stock with her and me and Anna make our way to the female pack house foyer to wait for our transport to the Scarlet Moon territory.

I was surprised that Alpha Adam agreed to let us go after all the scandal last year. We weren’t allowed to read the stories or listen to the news because of the ‘inappropriate nature’ but the rumours about the Alphas brother was that he was a s*x beast and s*x addict and that he was riddled with all sorts of disease after mating with thousands of she-wolves. Apparently, he discarded them like empty sweet wrappers after he took his pleasure. There was even a rumour that he had more than one girl at a time. How is that even possible?! 

Since the Scarlet Moon Pack also outlawed the teachings of the Moon Goddess my father said it was immoral for us to continue to associate with the Scarlet Moon, which upset my mother. Father said some horrible things about my mother’s former pack and in the end, she swore at him. Mother says his mind is closed. I just call him a narrow-minded pig for upsetting my mother.
