Jesse and I are drunk after too many drinks, giggling as he opens a door on the first floor. "No more drinking," he stumbles to turn on the light. "Agreed," I nod. "Let's play truth or dare," he suggests once I lock the door. "You first, truth or dare?" he asks. "Dare." "Um..." he taps his chin. "I dare you to kiss me." "What?" "No backing out. Are you scared?" he challenges. "But Macke—" "We broke up ages ago. It's fine," he insists. I look at Jesse; he's staring at me. "I can't do this," I whisper, shaking my head. "It'll stay between us. We probably won’t remember it tomorrow," he says. I sigh; this is my first kiss, and I might not even recall it. Closing my eyes, I lean in, our lips meeting briefly before I pull away. "See? That wasn't so bad," he teases, and I blush.
